We will credit any term enrolled students to the next term that we are open and look at extending the expiry on class cards depending on the duration of closure. 08.01.2022 Hey everyone! We just wanted to let you all know that we have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19. Fortunately for the moment, none of us are sick or at risk of exposure, and we will be keeping our regular classes running for the time being - if there is any change, well let you know We would ask anyone showing symptoms or subject to a quarantine to avoid attending until they are well and cleared, and remind everyone to exercise a high level of hygiene - hand sanitiser is always available at the front desk!

08.01.2022 Hey Everyone! Sorry for they delay on comms - our efforts to reopen in light of the easing restrictions have been slowed by the fact that the bowls club has chosen to not reopen in the near future, and we were forced to search for a new venue, as well as ensure we had a plan to be COVID safe when we recommenced. However, weve finally processed it all and we can confirm that we will be reopening from the 7th of July! Cant wait to see you all again! Read below for some very i...mportant updates, including our new venue and other temporary changes. Were also trying to update all the various events, website etc. in line with this - hang tight! NEW VENUE: For the immediate future, we will be relocating to the Nollamara Community Centre (72 Sylvia St, Nollamara). Fortunately we are *very* close to our old home, and while we dont have a bar, the venue is BYO friendly and we have a bottle shop within walking distance! TEMPORARY FORMAT CHANGE: For the month of July, as we ease ourselves back into normality our weekly night will be primarily social focused, to give us all an opportunity to reconnect after the lockdowns. Only our beginner class will run (at its normal 7:00 - 7:45PM time), while we will have an opportunity for a less structured "progression" time afterwards, this will be the only structured class in July, with the rest of the night being social. Our intermediate class wont return until August. TEMPORARY PRICING CHANGE: The pandemic has been a tough time for everyone, and some of us have been luckier than others in terms of financial stability. Right now, the most important thing for us is coming back together as a community, and we have been luckier than some. So for now, we will be changing our weekly dance over to a "pay-if-you-can" model. What we mean by this is, while on paper all our pricing will be the same, every dancer will have the choice to attend for free. If it makes the difference between you coming dancing or not, or makes your life a little less stressful we would love to have you come down free of charge - seeing you all again and dancing is the priority. We would obviously appreciate anyone who can pay to help us keep things running, but dont feel pressured to - just come dance :). Honestly, its uncertain how long we will be able to maintain this arrangement, but hopefully for at least a little while its something we can do to help the community. COVID safety: We have undertaken extra planning to ensure everyone is safe dancing with us in the wake of ongoing COVID concerns - we (just like always) have plenty hand sanitiser available for dancers, and have new cleaning procedures for our new venue. We encourage all our dancers to practise the best hygiene possible and stay away if unwell - were committed to everyones health and safety when dancing with us.

01.01.2022 EDIT: Sorry for any confusion interstate friends, the below is only relevant to WA at the time of posting. Hey guys! Hope everyone has been keeping healthy and happy, its certainly been a while! We were just as excited as the rest of you to hear about the stage 3 restrictions easing and the possibility of getting back to dancing. Weve been getting a few messages ever since, so we wanted to let you know where we are at with regards to reopening:... Although one would think that partner dancing would be all good under these restrictions given that things like contact sport and massage are, the actual reading of the publications leaves this ambiguous. We have since been in contact with the WA COVID information team, and we have been advised that there has already been a clarification requested on this internally, but they have not received a response as yet. A response is anticipated by early next week (hopefully earlier). Overall the sentiment was "we dont know for sure yet, but probably". So we are starting to get the wheels rolling behind the scenes and figuring out how everything will work, but we will let you know as soon a we can and hope to see you on the dance floor soon!
