14.01.2022 FLOWERCHILDREN - The Mamas and Papas story will have its first performance season outside of Melbourne in 2015. An entirely re-imagined production will be produced by Davine Interventionz Productions and play at the Star Theatre One from March 4th, 2015. The award-winning musical by Peter Fitzpatrick was initially developed by Magnormos in 2009, which lead to a premiere season at Theatre Works in 2011, and a commercial season at the Comedy Theatre in 2013.... The musical is now licensed through Origin Theatrical, and will be presented for the first time outside of Magnormos in this Adelaide season. 03.01.2022 FROM THE ARCHIVE! In 2010 Magnormos presented the Australasian premiere of [title of show]. The original season was so successful it sparked a return season later that year, and a visit from members of the Broadway company (including writer/performer Jeff Bowen, director Michael Berresse and performer Heidi Blickenstaff). In 2011 the five performers of the [title of show] return season appeared on the Butterfly Club stage in a cabaret for Midsumma Festival, where the actors... finally got to play themselves and share their [title of show] experiences in I AM PLAYING ME. Here is a short video highlights reel from the cabaret which the Herald Sun named as one of the five Simply the Best Theatre Shows of 2011!
