19.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW would like to provide our Centres and Members with an update in relation to Championship (Zone/Region/State) events for the 2020/2021 seaso...n. The Covid-19 Pandemic will have an impact on how we deliver our championship events this season. The board is committed to delivering quality events that keep our members safe. The staff and championships committee have been considering a number of options to achieve this. Whilst we currently do not have the final details we would like to share some of the details with you all: The traditional Zone and Region Championships will not take place this season. A number of State Qualifying meets will be held in the early part of 2021, most likely February. A State Championship Event will be held in March. The full details of the above will be announced in the coming weeks.

15.01.2022 Good Afternoon everyone, The committee have made a decision to cancel training and hurdles, although we will still be running. We will only be doing track events and long jump as the field is too wet to do field events. Sorry for any inconveniences.... According to LANSW rules, if we see lightening after 6:30pm we will be forced to cancel the night. Regards, Your Committee

14.01.2022 The rubber surface has started going down and lighting towers going up at the new regional athletics centre in Central Maitland.

09.01.2022 Presentation Day Cancelled! The committee have held many discussions and explored all options for holding our Presentation Day. We desperately wanted to recognise the wonderful athletes at our club in a formal ceremony but unfortunately due to the current restrictions and advise from LANSW to suspend all gatherings we have to CANCEL our planned event!! We will be in touch shortly to inform all our athletes of award winners and let members know how to collect trophies. Please be sure to check emails for information related to this. Our AGM will be held at East Maitland Bowling Club on the 13th May @ 7pm. We will remind everyone as the date approaches.

04.01.2022 Good Morning, There will be hurdles tonight starting at 6pm and are for ages groups U8+. There is also hurdle training for U12+ at 5:30. The weather is good and we are all set to go ahead for tonight’s club night. We excited have a full program again tonight and to see you all again. We hope you have a great night. ... Once again the night will commence at 6:30pm but we ask that you please be there early to check in. The earlier you get there the quicker we can start! Just a reminder to everyone of our COVID-19 restrictions: The guidelines for who can come and who to bring are as follows: 1. Only athletes registered with MSLAC will be allowed to compete tomorrow night and we will not be allowing people from external clubs to compete. 2. Only 1 guardian will be allowed per family. 3. If possible please only bring children that are registered and competing. If you arrive on the night with more than 1 guardians the extras will be asked to leave. If you come from another club to compete you will be asked to leave. Thank you for your corporation and understanding. Have a good day, Your committee
