Usually favour the more elegant fine western Australian cabs but every now and again great to go for a quality full bodied powerful south Aussie cab. This is one! Being in SA you dark berries and cassis but also a lovely choc mint and eucalypt flavour that is typical of this region. Quite savo...ury and herbaceous and some meaty tannin. Delicious now but would also benefit from a good 5 years minimum. So smooth and easy-drinking. Like, amazing. Plum and chocolate flavours that hang around in your mouth without ever overstaying it’s welcome. Wines like this will normally cost you 2-3 times what you can get it for. .
