03.01.2022 I have felt pretty sad and helpless over the last few days seeing whats going on in America. I have been educating myself and learning more about the struggles people of colour face and it’s made me realise just how naive I have been. I cannot even begin to try and understand however I’ve been wondering if there’s anything I can do to help, to make even the slightest difference here in my makeup community. I realised that in my entire makeup feed there is not one person of c...olour. This is not at all by choice, I would absolutely love to work on deeper skin tones I just don’t get the chance. I would absolutely hate for a young school formal girl to look at my makeup feed and think that I don’t do work on coloured people or that I don’t want to include them in my feed. I would like to do a call out to see if there’s any women of colour out there who would like to come in for a complementary makeup so that I can rectify this and make my feed more inclusive. 02.01.2022 An update for all of my beautiful clients. With Covid throwing a huge spanner in the works with wedding bookings we have made a few changes. I am working several days a week as head of CoolSculpting at the amazing Magnolia Mediclinic and I will be offering in salon makeups at my Mermaid Beach salon on Friday’s and Saturdays only. Weddings can still be booked any day as per normal. Kiani has an amazing new role at Bella Bronze as manager and brand manager so she will be stepp...ing down from doing my bookings. My new website will be up and running shortly with a really simple online booking process so that will definitely be the fastest way to find your preferred time and pay your deposit online to lock in your booking. Tahnee will also be taking her own bookings so you can contact her direct. We will both still be working closely together on weddings, shoots and group bookings.
