20.01.2022 Making it is about to make a comeback. I have been absent and not as present here, but time to amend that. I have set out a plan for homemade gifts and children’s clothes. So please like and share my post with family and friends .. Since the beginning of this pandemic I have not been inclined to make mask , feeling that the then information said that masks don’t work, and possibly correct still, virus can enter the body through your eyes as well and countless possible ways..... I felt that it would be profiting from fear, and false hope..but know it seems that it we will all need to wear a mask here in qld because of a few selfish people , in saying that I have decided that if it makes anyone feel better to wear one or see others wear it, then it is still a help and who knows it may help stop the spread... I will be making masks next week and to the specs of the Victorian government site, consisting of 3 layers and washable in hot water. I will sell them For $5 plus postage and cheaper for multiples. As I said mostly to help and do my bit, If you would like to order just PM how many and any colour theme you think you may like, or just wait till they pop up on this page. Thank you for your support and look forward to continue support. Peace and love See more

17.01.2022 Some cute Christmas Fabric starting to role in.. Getting a heads up on my tea towels , scrub caps and christmas gifts that I will role out during November. Nice to have some Spirit to wash away 2020..

17.01.2022 Feeling a bit bored after hectic Christmas and bit sad all the children and Grandies are gone, except of. Course James and Jackson, so decided to run up a couple of placemats for my new breakie bench. Yes I know you can but them cheap but i want to start taking a different approach this year, and use more sustainable fabrics hopefully fabrics thatbare Australian and not cheap imported ones..and so time and love goes into sewing, its not a thing you make money on, you do it because you like creating and get buzz when you see people with your products. So in saying that I am using up fabrics I have on Simple projects . Not a bad start to the year. If your interested and you want some , pm my page and will show you a range you can choose from. HAPPY NEW YEAR , and remember to like And share cause sharing is caring

17.01.2022 Hi guys yes its me again.. just working on a couple of styles of mask today. I am also Granny daycare And only have teusdays and thursday and the weekend free to get these done and if like today and I am doing 60 other things and the universe hating on me lol i am a bit slow getting them done. So my first kind will be the typical pleat style that are used in surgery. I have researched a bit and the typical three layers is the recomeded. one store is promoting using flanne...tte as the layer agaist your skin.. i tried it and i feel like I have a fur ball from it. So further on a scientific study showed that fusible lining can be used and cotton needs to be of tight weave. quilting cotton is tight woven fabric so that is the main material mine will be made of , there will be two layers and each layer will have fusible polyester liner on it which kinda makes it 4 layers. So now its back tonthe cutting table and i should have a few done and posted up here by Friday ready to send and deliver.. Tony will do a run to Brisbane this weekend ao if your keen for an order, drop me a line in PM and i will get moving for for.. Rosemary and Cathy I have your order ..thank you all.. See more

08.01.2022 Nice to get some sewing completed. Size 1 and size 2 . Love the shirt and it organic jersey. The next batch will be made from organic bamboo jersey and dyed so keep eye open for that and see how they turn out.

08.01.2022 BANG, CRASH POW! We all have a bit of super hero in us .. finally got to the masks, with everything happening here lol.. mine are two peice material each backed with polly interfacing which acts as another layer .. please rememeber that mask are not a sure line of defences these are not medical approved although while in hospital on Friday Master 10 was given a few words of approval on the one he was wearing. So yes wear a mask will help with the spread but also you will need to wash your cotton masks on a gently wash and use of a lingerie bag is suggested. Be safe , be kind.

05.01.2022 Finishing off a couple of projects tonight so I can send off tomorrow..and just like me .. a new project kicking off.. watch this space for a idea coming to fruition that my son gave last night.. and off course I was out and about finding what I need today lol.. right back to the machines.

04.01.2022 Its been a whirl wind few weeks. I really like this materal . Might have to get myself some. We had planned on a Mbourne cup day but i was ill. Also finished today are 15 scrub caps.. so busy day since 7.30 am. My list seems to be getying bigger lol once I finish all thenchristmas scrubs Incan get into so fun christmas baby/ kids sewing.. and some hand towels!! Hope youball enjoy the rest of your week.. peace!

02.01.2022 My reluctant model..beautiful 4 month grandson with his bib. Bib and burps set available. This size perfect from birth till 4 months.. $8 per set plus postage.

01.01.2022 Finally have surcomed to a headache - first in a while, but keen to get sewing done for the weekend. In my endeavour to work with sustainable and hopefully Australian made fabrics, these lively little numbers are destined for shorts and pants for me. A lovely 100% cotton stripe and the crowning jewel (and new found company in the sunshine coast) this really impressive blue organic Hemp twill.. 100%. The hemp is from Europe sadly as our laws in Qld particular are still a b...it lost. Hemp is a wonderful product, easy to grow, quick to grow, no pesticides and low water needed.. it so versatile and makes perfect sense in the day to use it more.. which is why the government wont make it legal and useful. i also have some delightful 100% bamboo stretch which will make some lovely t shirts and a couple of baby wraps but first I need to dye them. Right off my soap box and back to sewing . Hopefully finished products up loaded over weekend. Last week school holidays. See more
