He is Looking forward to continuing to make awesome memories.

19.01.2022 A big shoutout to Richard Kramer (Mark's uncle) for designing, ordering and selling Making Memories keyrings. The proceeds went to buying Mark & Seb winter jackets which have been a necessity for the Saturday soccer games in this chilly weather winter weather. Mark is getting stronger everyday after his surgery and continuing with his fortnightly chemo treatments. Besides spending time with Seb he's also now back to another of his passions. The rest of the money Richard raised went towards a very special gift - Mark's new gun. He's now able to spend time back at the gun range, which works as his meditation and relaxation time (& perhaps a little bit of getting rid of some of his frustrations). Once again a big thank you to you all for the constant well wishes and support & especially Dickie

17.01.2022 Hindy Sorry Mark has been a bit quiet lately. Still having chemo fortnightly and has focused on Seb and building a new rig as he calls it. Opportunity to finally use it and he is very pleased with it. See Marks post fir all the details.

14.01.2022 Wow can not believe 12 months ago Jodi Doyle and Laurie were at the Premiere Lounge We're on our way. Leaving Bali tonight, next stop Singapore then L.A. see you in a couple of days Mark Langlands David Langlands and Karen Knight in the US for what is certain to be an amazing time

14.01.2022 Warning - you are permitted to laugh at his expense: So Mark is now home continuing to recover. He's had his second dose of chemo since the surgery and true to his nature, is fighting on in good spirit. He shared the video below on his fb page and gave me permission to pop it on here so you can all have a chuckle. I've interpreted a bit of it and figure that "fetamine" is a combination of ketamine and fentanyl and "zom zom" I think was supposed to be "zombie. This was taken a couple of days after his surgery when they were attempting to get his pain under control. Mark has no recollection of it but reckons if he'd ever turned up at home with eyes like that, his parents would have skinned him alive. His message is - don't take drugs kids lol.

12.01.2022 With an early start at the Albion Park Soccer ground and temperature of 9 degrees. Mark watched Seb along with his team play a great game. Not only did they win but Seb scored a hat trick and was named the player of the match. Congratulations on a great game Seb

09.01.2022 Can you believe 12 months ago we were all lucky enough to travel and what an amazing opportunity Mark and Seb were given with all the generosity. Beginning of the trip of a Lifetime. Sorry but will be posting all these awesome memories. How the world has changed but we are very lucky to live in a beautiful country. Look at the positives in every day as there are no guarantees in life. Be grateful for what you have and opportunities you are given and make the most of it.

08.01.2022 What a big weekend Relay for Life was a little different this year but still very special. 19 years Mark has been involved along with his family in the Cancer Council Wollingong Relay for Life. What a wonderful magical day making great memories. Very lucky to have Photos of the family with four generations on both sides.

01.01.2022 I know we haven't posted for a little while but we have an update here from Mark with some exciting news: WOW what a rollercoaster ride I have been on for the past 17 months since my cancer diagnosis - lots of highs and lots of lows. I am truly thankful to so many people who have been on this ride with me and supporting me, Seb and those closer to me along the way. What can I say. Prior to my benefit night last year I was told surgery may be an option, but the Monday follow...ing the amazing night the wind from my sail burst. NO surgery and the chemotherapy journey to death do us part was continued. After a few initial hiccups & a change in medications I received a very interesting call from my surgeon at the end of May this year wanting to eyeball me. Strange call considering we were in the middle of COVID19, but it was because my oncologist was pleased with my progress. Yes i still had a shit ton of fat and I looked well! Following this consult more scans were conducted and I was given great news that surgery was an option again. Lots of possible outcomes could occur during the surgery, it may not go ahead as it was still unknown what they would find until they opened me up and had a good look inside. Well I am very happy to say I had the surgery and whilst a tough gig and I have a long road to recovery, I believe it may give me a better quality of life longer term. We are still waiting for full results, but initial report from the surgeon is that he was able to take some of the main cancer. I appreciate all your support and are hoping that you all understand I'm in the early stage of recovery and the recovery from this surgery will take some time & lots of rest. Therefore to give myself the best chance to recover well, I'll be focusing on that recovery and Seb and so will be limiting my contact and communication with everyone during this time. Thanks for your support and understanding regarding this. Even though I won't personally reply to people - I do appreciate it. As I continue to say Fuck cancer - you picked the wrong person to take on. More awesome memories to make and a shit ton of fighting to continue. Thanks again Mark
