25.01.2022 Things are looking great for our return to training! At this stage we are hoping for return on the 30th July, I should have official confirmation of this early next week so make sure you keep watching this page for updates!

24.01.2022 Sadly I don't have much of an update with an ETA for training yet. We are working to get back to training ASAP. The manager at the Rec Centre has been great to deal with, however, current restrictions placed on the venue do make it a challenge. Please be patient and hopefully we will be back in action in no time! Thanks heaps! Dai Sempai Sam

23.01.2022 Sad to say, but due to the current situation with Covid-19 the December grading is cancelled.

23.01.2022 It might be school holidays but that doesn't mean we stop training. Training is still on as per usual, hope to see you all there!

Please also be aware of our hot weather policy, if the weather is forecast for 38 or greater according to BOM (http://www.bom.gov.au/) then training will be cancelled. Stay cool, drink lots! See you all tomorrow!

We do have some new rules and cleaning requirements to stick by which will be emailed out to all registered students in the coming days. Can't wait to see you all back at training!

12.01.2022 Hi all, As you may be aware as per Scott Morrisons public announcement last night all indoor sports activities are now suspended until further notice, this incl...udes us, training nights, competitions and grading’s. This is unfortunate but it was always going to happen. So officially all MKA training is now suspended until further notice. Please stay safe and healthy, we can all help stop the spread of the virus by practicing good social distancing and thorough personal hygiene practices. MKA will return as soon at the restrictions are lifted. Thankyou Shihan Glen Doecke MKA Head Instructor/Founder

10.01.2022 I'm really missing training like crazy! Things are returning to normal rather quickly so please make sure to watch this space for updates Hopefully not much longer now!

With grading coming up it is super important that you come to class so you can be assessed for nomination but please don't forget to bring your drink bottle! Just another quick reminder, if the weather for Kadina is forecast for 38 or greater according to BOM (http://www.bom.gov.au/) then training will be cancelled.

07.01.2022 Hi All, Just a quick reminder that there is no training this week. Just because the lockdown is over does not mean out restrictions have been lifted. Hopefully we will be back soon, remember to keep up your practice at home!

07.01.2022 Just a quick note to all those students grading tomorrow. Please don't forget to bring your sparring gear, grading form, and water bottle. Also, for anyone traveling tomorrow morning. 03.01.2022 Hi All! The new relaxing of regulations is really looking in our favour for return to training. 02.01.2022 Hey all, I quick note on the up and coming December grading, yes we are grading in December unless we fall back into a lock down. The planned date is the 13th o...f December 2020. How that grading will look will be different to other years, we are looking having allocated time slots on the day for grading’s where groups of ranks will be allocated a time slot, they are graded and belts are handed out. The next group comes in and the same process happens again, depends on grading numbers to how many groups there will be. The grading will be held at the Echunga dojo due to the flexibility of the venue, I have it booked for the weekend at no extra cost to accommodate for any last minute changes, its covid capacity is 150 people not including instructors and graders. If you have any questions feel free to contact me or your instructor.. Thanks Shihan

01.01.2022 Hi All! For all those students grading, please read this post from Shihan. Due to Covid restrictions the gradings will be staggered. Take close note of what time you start, if you are late you won't grade! See you all on Thursday!
