25.01.2022 I’ve got 3 little favours to ask.. We welcome you into the park from 12 midday. Rob and I are busy making the park pretty for you during the morning hours, the afternoons we are in the office checking people in. If you arrive on the tablelands early there are plenty of attractions to have a look at along the way. Our website lists 101 things to do www.malandafalls.com.au... Please, pretty please don’t keep calling and hanging up and then recalling. We are not ignoring you, we are likely serving guests and can not pick up the phone. We have a voice mail service and I will return your call as soon as I possibly can. When you are parking your rig to come in and check in, please drive right into the park. On busy periods we have a back log of vans and we don’t want to clog up the main road. There is plenty of room, as long as you drive right in to allow others to pull up behind you. Thank you so much... can’t wait to see you all soon.

21.01.2022 It is so disappointing for Rob and I to work so hard, bring nice things to the park only to have parents not supervise their kids and have our things wrecked . This chicken coop is new and cost us a lot of money. We have put many cable ties on it because your children are breaking the bottom of the cage to grab the chicks. Today someone has used excessive force and completely broken the cage.... It is your job to supervise your children. If we see any children unsupervised near the chickens again this weekend we will be sending them back to you. By all means you are welcome to come and sit near the chicks, however you need to be there watching what your child is up to. Rant over.. thank you to all the parents that have informed us and done the right thing. I know many of you are as disappointed as we are .

16.01.2022 Look who can walk a little bit now. She was so excited to be back on the grass that her little tail was wagging uncontrollably. I’ve called the vet about her eye, I’m not sure that it will recover.. she will still be perfect if she ends up as winky dink . We are in for a huge weekend .... If you are staying with us please check on her from time to time as I’ll have caravans backing up very soon. Thank you so much for all the well wishes, it’s lovely that you all care so much . The Pix has to be the luckiest goat getting around I reckon! She has defied the odds twice now. No more please Pix, my little heart (and wallet ) can’t take much more. Happy long weekend peeps.

15.01.2022 It’s been a rough night but look who is eating on her own! She still can’t stand however she is turning her head now. I don’t know if her eye will ever be the same, it looks terrible. I’m feeling more hopeful today, although she is still very sick.

12.01.2022 Here are the photos of the sink hole that we luckily escaped getting stuck in at 2.30pm. Thankfully there was a slow vehicle pull over area to the left, a man was parked there waving his arms at us. We drove on the other side of the road to avoid driving into it, the oncoming traffic saw us and stopped in time to allow us through. ... As you can see by the first photo, it looks like it will cave in a lot more. Might buy a lotto ticket Huge thank you to the man that warned us . Brett Heritage Stephen Black

03.01.2022 Poor old Henny Penny wants to have babies. Every time she lays eggs the pesky bush turkeys eat them and she sits on nothing for months until she gives up . So today I put 6 little fertile eggs under her and popped a lid on her crate so that she can cook her eggs in peace. Henny Penny I’ve got everything crossed that this is your moment.. stay tuned, babies in 21 days

02.01.2022 I’ve got some really bad news . We found Pixie this morning unable to stand and she has a milky eye. I called the vet and she has a paralysis tick, her eye is white because she has been bashing her head in the ground due to her being paralysed. So Dr Tamara gave her the anti toxic drug and I decided to nurse her at home. Truthfully it is touch and go. She isn’t in a good way . ... She is in the office once again, this time last year she was as stiff as a board, now she is paralysed . We will give it all that we have got to save our little girl . Come on Pix, you can do it .

01.01.2022 Can you believe it’s been one year since our beautiful Pixie contracted Tetanus. Gee that was a hair raising time, but we got her through . You will be pleased to know that she has been dating Gordon... we are hopeful for baby Pixdon’s in the future ... Of course I will keep you updated along the way
