19.01.2022 I gave many handmade gifts for Christmas this year from both of our festivals and they were loved! Thank you to all the makers. As we go into 2022 we hope you were able to give family and friends joy this Christmas with handmade! Can't wait to do it all again in 2022! Due to the current health situation this may not be until the 2nd half of the year but it will be worth the wait we promise!

20.10.2021 Not long now Maleny’s Late Night Christmas Come into Maleny and experience our beautiful shops and cafes in a late-night shopping experience on Friday 10 D...ecember 5pm to 8pm, Maple Street Maleny. Shop, Eat & Be Entertained. While you are wandering around you can listen to the Sunshine Statesmen Quartets Christmas carols roaming the streets from 5.15pm to 6pm, starting at the Maleny Community Centre. Then for something totally different check out the Renegade Funk band at Maleny Lane from 6pm to approximately 10pm. You will also find Rob Longstaff in David Linton’s forecourt entertaining us from 5pm to 8pm. You will be able to hear Carnaval the Cuban percussion band from afar from 6pm and they will be situated the other end of town. If you want more carols go to the Maleny RSL from 6.30pm to hear the Maleny Singers. You can see Santa, Mrs Claus and their Raindogs wandering the street or sitting on the seat outside Peace of Green. Take the opportunity to say hello, tell Santa what you want for Christmas and get a selfie. The small kids will love the petting zoo at the Riverside Centre, then in the gardens of QCB they can get their face painted. Walk up to the green grass near Peace of Green, sit on one of the blankets and pillows and listen to stories read by Christmas storytellers. Shop at our amazing retailers many are having promotions just for the night. Lots of arts and crafts too with Maleny Handmade Markets on in the Community Centre, Peace of Green Gallery, Maleny Arts & Crafts and Maleny Art Direct all open. It's your opportunity to buy a real Christmas Tree, visit Forest Heart Nursery in Coral Street who are also serving afternoon tea and and giving you an opportunity to have your photo taken with Murri Claus. There is something for everyone! Why not do a progressive dinner, some of our cafes staying open. Have a little here and a little there and support them all! How great would it be to top the night off by winning a $500 Maleny Gift Card that can be spent at one or many of the 95 businesses that accept the card. Tickets on sale at the Maleny Kiosk. All this and it’s free! If you are looking for a park and can’t find any in the parking signed areas in town you can park and walk from the showgrounds and take the leisurely 600 metre walk along the boardwalk into town. There are even photo opportunities along the boardwalk.
