23.01.2022 Oh I like this. Would you do it? https://www.buzzfeednews.com//bride-let-women-wear-their-o

22.01.2022 Wow. Ok..where could we do this in the Pilbara...Karijini???

22.01.2022 So If you could only get married at a place you love to eat... where would it be. Living in Newman I dont do a lot of takeaway but I suppose if it was when I go to Perth then I would have to get married at either All Aboard Seafood (love their fish and chips) or Centrepoint pizza... lol

21.01.2022 What a nice night and the perfect spot for a wedding

21.01.2022 I love Pilbara weddings. Another done tonight with an enquiry for another on the drive over. Think I might break my 5 wedding a year record this year. Also the variety of Nationalities..todays bride was from Cambodia, at a Tongans house, and the guest were locals and people employed at Jigalong. And I wont get into the food...omg

20.01.2022 How would you feel if your bridesmaid turned up like this? She was told she could wear what she wants. Lol

18.01.2022 Todays wedding venue....but were not in Newman anymore Toto

16.01.2022 What a perfect way to include distant relatives/friends.

16.01.2022 Who would have thought that bouquet tossing could be soo dangerous. Lol

13.01.2022 Monday last week I did something I never expected to do as a Celebrant and that was a funeral. One of my best friends lost her husband unexpectedly and rang me and asked as a Marriage Celebrant if I could do funerals. I said anyone can do a funeral, you dont need to be qualified to do it. So she asked me if I would do her husbands. Of course I said yes as she is my friend and I would do anything to help her at this time. But then I had to start thinking about everything..., I had never intended on doing funerals even though there are always courses offered when I do my yearly opd. Thankfully the association I belong to is always very helpful so they told me rough where to go to find info on how to do a service. Then once I had written it I had a couple of other celebrants look it over for me. Apparently it was pretty good for a first go and just needed a couple of changes. I wasnt sure how I would go emotionally either as I can be a bit of a sook and a real ugly crier. Lol. But thankfully when it came time to stand up and deliver the service I found the emotion didnt come in the way I thought it would. Ok I did a couple of fluffs like saying he had been involved in the Speedway for thirty decades instead of three lol. But in doing the research I found a poem and there was a couple of lines in it that I think really touched me... on a headstone there are two dates with a dash in between. The first date is the day we arrived into the world and the second date is the day we departed. But the most important part of those dates is the dash as that is what you brought to the world. So make the most of your life and make sure your dash is a big one

13.01.2022 Not sure about the first look meeting which is very popular in the USA..... but do love this

12.01.2022 Haha. What a cool way of getting to your wedding

12.01.2022 There are some lovely dresses in this but the thing I couldnt help notice was how sad most of the models looked. They all looked like they were about to have a forced marriage. I know they are only models but gee if you want to sell them at least make the models look happy.

11.01.2022 There are some lovely dresses amongst these that would go great in the Pilbara

11.01.2022 This is a good read

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Alyce and Adrian who got married yesterday at the Marlee Pavilion in Kings Park. Dont really have long enough arms for selfies. Lol. Thanks for allowing me to marry you in the big smoke. This was my fourth wedding in 2 1/2 weeks and each were so totally different. How lucky am I that 6 years on every wedding is still a learning curve and exciting

09.01.2022 I have loved doing all my weddings but todays was just, I dont know how to say it, heart touching. I dont know why I feel any different about this one than any I have previously done. I have become very close with some of my couples and consider them friends since their weddings and I dont want to take anything away from all my previous marriages but there was something about todays. The words, the brides, everything just seemed so right.

08.01.2022 These are gorgeous. What a different bouquet

06.01.2022 Firstly Happy New Year and first day of February Sorry I have been quiet for a while.. it has been a bit of a hiccup to the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020. I went to Perth the first week of November and got two brand new knees on the 19th November.. Yep 2 at once. It has been hard work but I believe it was the way to do it. We were then meant to go to Exmouth for a family Christmas with my mum and my brother and sister in law as we havent had Christmas with them f...or 7 years but that didnt happen as DH ended up in hospital the day were were meant to go. Thankfully he wasnt driving when it happened and he ended up staying there for just over a week and didnt get out until mid afternoon Christmas Day. We were told he had to stay in Perth for 6 weeks....ok I can handle that..just!! Nope now mum gets problems so to sort all of them out both problems require 4 appointments a week apart. So it looks like I am stuck in Perth now until mid February. Now to the post I am sharing... I have joined a few of groups where Country people are doing crafts etc to subsides their farming life. There are some amazing arts and crafts being down out there. This lovely lady is doing amazing invitations and other printing using an old press. The work she has online to see looks absolutely gorgeous. I love seeing handcrafted items and think if you want something special have a look at these. There does seem to be quite a long production time but look at what you get. I dont know her nor do I know her prices but they may be worth looking at.

06.01.2022 Unfortunately I have made the decision to not take anymore bookings for weddings to be held until the Covid-19 virus is under control. I have my 83 year old mother living with me and can not take the risk of her getting infected. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to contact me. Stay safe and healthy everyone

05.01.2022 I love this idea....I wish I had my fur baby involved in my wedding but it just wasnt really done back then

02.01.2022 How cool would that be...dont think it would be practical with mine as it was a bit poofy. Lol

02.01.2022 This is different and probably safer as you dont have women falling all over the place trying to catch the bouquet
