We are open for emergency care please contact Paul directly on: 0401 368 515 Emergency eye conditions may be - sore/red eye/irritated eyes - Seeing a curtain or spider web image in vision - Have a foreign body in the eye - Broken spectacles - Significant or sudden change in vision If you have glasses or contact lenses on order, we can arrange deliveries and payments will be organised over the phone. For these and non-emergency enquiries, including frame repairs, diabetic checks and drivers licence forms please call (07) 5435 2733 or email [email protected]. Staff will continue to monitor phone messages and emails but ask for your patience; we will respond to you as soon as possible. Our online booking system has been temporarily disabled during this period. For deliveries if the shop is unattended please forward to PO Box 671, Maleny. This campaign is all about making people aware of their vision whilst behind the wheel. Are you having trouble reading road signs and number plates? Do you find it difficult to see lane markings? Are you having dfifficulty seeing in changing light conditions (dusk to night)? ... Do you find yourself needing to drive slowly or reluctant to drive at night? 15.01.2022 Christmas Eye describes a painful condition that affects the cornea the eyes clear, protective outer layer. The condition is most commonly found around Christmas-time (hence the name) in the south-west region of New South Wales and north east Victoria. Its monocular', meaning it occurs in one eye (not both) and, as mentioned, its painful. Extremely, excruciatingly painful.

We added an X-tractive blue transition lens to compliment as a sunglass, so Christopher never needs to take them off. Mary bought 2 pairs, one with more colour and a slight cosmetic tint, the other for evening wear. Dont they look fabulous.

14.01.2022 IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY UPDATE. We take the health and safety of our patients and the community very seriously. We are closely monitoring the situation around COVID-19 and strictly following State and Federal government guidelines. As an optometry practice focusing on eyecare and providing the best quality of care to our patients, we continue to uphold our high standards of hygiene and infection control policies and procedures. With the evolving developments around COV...ID-19, we have implemented additional health measures to ensure we maintain a safe environment for you and our staff. Additional hygiene precautions have been implemented to prevent the spread of germs, including disinfecting of surfaces, all handled frames and equipment. All visitors are encouraged to use the available hand sanitiser within the practice. We are avoiding physical contact where possible and we are smiling to say hello rather than shaking hands. During consultations, we are utilizing protective shields and gloves as appropriate while avoiding unnecessary close contact and ensuring equipment is disinfected comprehensively for every patient. Our scheduled appointments are flowing such that social distancing measures are implemented with less patients in the waiting area and appropriate space utilisation and furniture layout that allows separation of seated patients. You can help us out here by arriving on time for your appointment to support this safety measure for the benefit of our community. We are vigilant in requesting and proactively engaging with our patients the messaging that if you are not well (with any symptoms of fever, sore throat, a cough or shortness of breath), been in close contact with someone diagnosed or suspected to have coronavirus, to please reschedule your appointment with us. We will continue to do this. We have strict protocols in place should any staff member become unwell to protect our patients and remaining staff. We will continue to update you.
