This is a starting point for your journey of attaining true happiness, an abundance of compassion for all beings and our Mother Earth, and a reverential respect of the origins of this higher knowledge. If you are joining us to become a meditation teacher, yoga teacher or just to immerse yourself into yoga, please understand that yoga is so much more than asana on the mat. Yoga is not about how flexible a person can be but a life practise. When we are on the mat, it is not so much how far you can stretch a muscle but where your mind is focused, staying with the present moment and following the breath. In turn, living a life of yoga you will be transformed into the best person you can be and pass on the essentials to a compassionate life of awareness to all the people you meet along this journey. 16.01.2022 This is a lovely email sent through from a recent guest. "I have to tell you I have been to quite a few retreats of this nature. Seeking ways to be better , to live better , to better contribute to the world rather than just consuming from have been the reasons for my pursuit, and to gain some clarity about this crazy way of life that we create for ourselves. ... I have found you both quite unique in that you remain "real " in spite of living this path of truth and teaching. I really respect you both for that . It's not easy to get the balance right, But you two seem to have nailed it. There were a couple of things that happened on retreat that made me positive that you are both genuine and real , showing me your true selves and not shying away from it. There is no pretence , no intention to display something that is not entirely real. One was the football playing while we were in yoga session ! (I have to add here, it was NOT in the yoga room itself) I just loved that sense of fun and play amongst the serious business of living an authentic life. The other was total acceptance of total strangers into your home without judgement or undue pressure to do or disclose anything at all. That is also rare in the world of retreat and instruction, its unusual but refreshing. Better times ahead for us all. Thank you again."
