25.01.2022 Peony perfection. They’re slowly making their way back. I bought a whole bucket for this weekends weddings. Do you think I was able to use one stem? Nope. Not one. Then spent a preeeetty penny to ensure I had enough to use for one bridal bouquet! Let’s see if I can get the bucket to open for next weekends wedding

21.01.2022 A little cheeky view of the photo area at my engagement party! Also... can we talk WEIRD FLORIST HOURS (or really anyone who works for themselves/freelancers). Woke at 4am worked up until 12.30pm. Had some lunch started working again until 3pm. Had a nap (a must after market). 6pm did some emails, put dinner on and now I’m back to the studio to get a start on the wedding flowers for Friday’s wedding. Apologies to those who have just enquired... I will be a little slow on emails for the rest of the week as we’re going to be in the studio & on site for our first wedding of the year (Image captured by @themoodlab)

18.01.2022 It’s been a while since posting on the gram! Having consistency in this area is definitely something I’m working on. September is seriously a month of crazy and... I always wonder... will I actually make it through - some how I always do (with endless cups of coffee & very little sleep) This year it was the season of love, learning, celebration and the arrival of our white @oaklabdesign plinth (aren’t they gorgeous) I can’t believe it’s October and I’ve just had the chance to reflect on last month! 08.01.2022 The bittersweet end of holidays. Usually it’s bittersweet for a completely different ‘I don’t want these holidays to end’ selfish reason. This time it’s bittersweet for some really heartbreaking reasons. I’ve been feeling so very uneasy and unsure about how to get ‘back into’ things. It doesn’t feel honest sharing on social media whilst we’re waking up to our part of the world on fire. Holding our breaths for the RFS updates or simply because the air around is considered unsa...fe by the EPA. The bittersweet feeling of waking up to a clear sunny day remembering what it was like ‘before’ only to have the thick choking smoke roll through in the middle of the day. I have to admit I’ve been hiding away scared to post. Not knowing where to start, like not knowing what to say to a dear friend who has just lost a loved one. Doing the wrong thing and backing away when they need you to show up the most. It’s sweet because I’ve seen all the good that humans can also bring. The good in showing up. So many humans have inspired me and showed me how to show up. That you just HAVE to keep showing up. Every bit does matter and what we do still counts, even when you feel like all hope is gone. From today to the 13th of February I’ll be doing a really small gesture of donating $100 from every wedding booked (over the value of $2,000) to communities, families and creatures affected by climate change & the fires. Power to the people showing up when those in charge won’t. I’m back into the swing of things for 2020 and I am really looking forward to seeing our community and country navigate this new reality and hopefully bringing a lot of beauty into the lives of loved-up couples and of course, your scrolling sessions. (P.s we received our engagement party images just last week and I don't think it could have been captured more perfectly. Thank you THE MOOD LAB - the feelings of the evening have been brought back!) 04.01.2022 Oh hi!!!! I’m just coming up for some air... Handing in keys for our old house this week (after scrubbing it clean ) and now to work on settling into our new home and getting the new studio all ready for the onslaught of weddings starting next week... so exciting yet SO EXHAUSTING! I feel like a 10/10 zombie.
