23.01.2022 ITS HAPPENING AGAIN!!! New Years Eve on Lake Lascelles foreshore ..... great event you don't want to miss out on!! FREE jumping castle for the kids. Tickets $10 (18 +). Strictly NO BYO, drinks available to purchase. Food also on offer to purchase. Get around it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20.01.2022 Hey everyone, tad late on the update but we are OPEN!!! . Accomodation bookings, please call 0439 529 973. Powered camping sites are first in basis, fees to be placed in fee box at the camp kitchen. Please remember to keep a watch on government Covid guidelines as they are still changing due to rising stats. We will keep you informed also on Facebook if anything changes from our end. Please help our volunteers out and keep areas clean by disinfecting/cleaning after use.... Don’t forget to download the COVIDsafe app. Happy camping everyone !!!

17.01.2022 We are starting to receive many queries regarding our accomodation and if we are open, please see update below. UPDATE: Our Mallee Bush Retreat Accommodation remains closed due to COVID 19 restrictions - shared amenities / cleaning regulations. ... Camping is allowed however you will need to bring along your own amenities with you as the retreats are closed. Watch our facebook page, we will post updates as we slowly open back to normal.

13.01.2022 UPDATE: Our Mallee Bush Retreat Accommodation and camping around the lake will be temporarily closed as of 11.59pm tonight due to COVID 19 Stage 3 restrictions. **Please note those who have no permanent address, can not return home, have the caravan park listed as their permanent address, require emergency housing or for essential work are eligible to stay. Local police and Local Government Authorised Officers will be monitoring this. Follow our Facebook page for future updates. Stay safe everyone.

10.01.2022 NEW DEFIBRILLATOR at Mallee Bush retreat. Located in the camp kitchen nearest the powered sites. (Next to toilets and laundry facility, see pics). Whilst we hope we never need it, it’s good to know it’s available to grab & go.

10.01.2022 Check out our upgraded facilities in the Shearing Shed (Kitchen/function room) completed by Jonasson’s Kitchen Solutions. It looks fantastic and gives the place a nice new lift. 09.01.2022 Some more photos of Willow Lake. Willow Lake sits alongside Lake Lascelles in Hopetoun Vic. It sits in the basin of an old town reservoir and these two lakes now share a bank. On Tuesday there were 20,000 yellow belly fingerlings released into Willow Lake by the Victorian Fisheries, so it's exciting times ahead!! No powercraft will be used in Willow Lake, it has lots of structure in the water for good fish habitat. These snags are also attracting lots of birdlife which can ...be viewed from two new platforms. This project has been a long time in the making, and here's a big thanks to our local volunteers, from planning, paperwork and submissions right through excavation works. Thank-you also to the Yarriambiack Shire, GWM Water, Victorian Fisheries, Hopetoun Angling Club, Hopetoun Ski Club and Lake Lascelles Committee of management on a job well done. See more

09.01.2022 Appreciation post .... this was taken 1 year ago by Gabsnaps. Not only is it a beautiful photo but a nice reminder to know our lives are slowly getting closer to being back to normal, and we can enjoy gatherings again. Happy camping everyone!!

06.01.2022 We are excited to be back in action and taking accomodation bookings. To book please call 0439529973. We ask those staying in the accomodation and camping to follow the current covid guidelines such as social distancing, wearing of mask, travel groups ect. Please pack your own hand sanitiser and other cleaning products eg. Glen 20, alcohol wipes or products required that makes you feel comfortable your facilities are sanitized to your comfort. ... Don’t forget all accomodation is BYO linen, pillows and doonas. We look forward to having you stay.
