18.01.2022 Water is often so comforting during labour, so much so that it is often recommended to only enter a birth pool towards the end of labour so that it doesn’t relax and slow progress. A shower is a great option for when you are still trying to keep labour progressing, but would like some comfort, since you can stay upright and moving those hips. Even better still if your partner or birth support person jumps in with you too!... These two enjoyed some beautiful time together in the shower, connecting, supporting and loving each other
