25.01.2022 I know, you don't want me talking about Christmas! But hey, it is going to be here before we know it LOL! Thought I had better load some of our HANDMADE Christmas range that we carry, and I will get around to photographing our new lines, which I am really loving, as soon as I can. 18.01.2022 Getting organised sometimes is bigger than Ben Hur! I always seem to have so many things on the go that I really do become ineffective. Mmm... promise to self to be more organised, and prioritise. However, easier said than done, and yes, I have lists of what to do today, but somehow other things seem to come along and interrupt my wonderful intentions. I guess it is what we call life. How do you all get through your day not distracted? At the end of it all, the cute array o...f crafts at Mammy's always brings a smile to my face, and somehow between all the help, we eventually get there. Below is our "Betsy the Country Mouse" design by Snuggle Bug Prim Blessings. She is a real cutie and reminds me of the crafts we made back when I started over 20 years ago. Betsy is 20cm tall (one of our littlin's) and is mounted on a jarrah board. Betsy retails for $25. Enjoy folks and I will do my best to stick to my lists LOL!!!
16.01.2022 SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES// Good morning! We would love to introduce our snickerdoodle cookies. These are traditionally an American cookie, and almost every America...n family has their own, unique family recipe which makes these cookies even more fabulous. We have been making snickerdoodle cookies for years for our family Christmas and there are always standoffs as to who will devour the last one. These cookies are best described as 'Christmas in a cookie.' They are crisp on the edge with a soft and chewy centre. Lastly, they are coated with cinnamon and sugar to add that delightful quick of spice and a hint of sweet. We love baking these cookies and we are so glad that many of you love them too. Our snickerdoodles are one of the most popular baked goods at all our markets and goodie box deliveries. We hope that you will try one, two, or maybe a few more than two (we won't tell) at our next market or when you order a goodie box. 16.01.2022 After a very extended break LOL! Guess it is time to get back into the swing of things once again. We are at the Bunbury Markets tomorrow !5th November in Queens Gardens and Stable Markets on the 16th at the Trotting Track, along with Our LIttle Rustic Pantry who has a few new goodies to eat and yes not that I need to, but have taste tested - yum yum yum. (Lemon and Rosemary Bundt Cake, Orange Madeleines, Raspberry Meringue Modernas, Raspberry Friands, Pear Chai Cake, Coconut... Macaroons and Peach pomme tart) I love the use of in-season produce. We will have our faithful, our famous Snickerdoodles, Melting Moments, Chocolate Fudge Brownie (French style), Millionaire Shortbread Slice. (You guessed it, Georgina has sneaked in her French cooking). And yes, I do have a few new items for Mammy's, but alas they won't be ready for this weekend markets... been busy in the kitchen LOL!!!! 15.01.2022 WE DO ORDERS + DELIVERIES//Hi Friends! What a few weeks we have been experiencing! It has been a lot to take in to be honest. But, we will all get through this ...together. We have to admit it has been hard starting up a new business with such high hopes and many ideas and then with having what feels like a huge bump in the road come along. But, God is good and He will continue to provide for each and every one of us. . . Although we are not going to be doing the markets for a little while we will still be doing ORDERS, small and big and also catering jobs (of course within the restriction regulations). We would hate for people to stop enjoying our goodies because we are not going to the markets. We are offering DELIVERY all over Bunbury, Boyanup, Capel and Donnybrook. . . 09.01.2022 NO BUSSELTON MARKETS THIS WEEKEND// Hiya friends, We have made a little bit of a rookie mistake of being SUPER eager and excited about getting back into the mar...kets and getting ahead of ourselves with the market dates. So, there are NO Busselton Rotary Markets this weekend they are on next weekend. BUT, the Bunbury Markets are STILL happening this Saturday the 18th from 8-12pm with local produce. So, still, come on down for the @thebunburymarkets this Saturday for all kinds of local produce and treats! You will definitely find these delicious 'Apple Dapple Loaves' there on Saturday. In this photo above they have just come out of the oven and ready to be drizzled (generously) with a sweet, gooey, mouth-watering, hot caramel sauce to ooze deep into the loaf and smother the top. Yes, please! We hope to see you down at the Markets this weekend and next weekend too!
