22.01.2022 Hey there, hoping one of our fine friends out there in cyberspace can help us with a long shot request. We've had a call from someone seeking a photo of Picasso winning the 1951 Manangatang Cup. The meeting took place on Saturday, October 6, 1951 and the winning jockey was F Hanna. But we're not sure who owned Picasso.... Any leads would be much appreciated. Cheers!

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Annual General Meeting of the Manangatang Racing Club will be held at the Manangatang Hotel on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.... The business to be considered at the meeting is as follows: To confirm the minutes of previous AGM To receive the President’s Report To receive the audited accounts of the club for the year ended July 31, 2020. To elect ordinary members of the committee. Nominations of persons to be elected to the committee must be received on the club nomination form to Aaron Garvie ([email protected]) by Friday 29th January 2021. Members please note: Any other business to be considered at AGM or any questions for the auditor of the club must be forwarded to Aaron Garvie by 29th January 2021. Copies of the financial statements will be available at the AGM or can be accessed by contacting Aaron Garvie on 5032 2110 or [email protected]

19.01.2022 We are rapt to have been awarded $2500 after making a submission to the promotional partnership between Corteva Agriscience and Nutrien Ag Solutions. Thanks to Nick Weckert from Corteva for coming to Manang and presenting us with a big cheque! The cash will go towards improving our facilities so the Manang Races can return bigger and better than ever in October.

18.01.2022 The men's and women's dash for cash had the crowd up and about once again at this year's Manang Races. A big shout out to the legendary crew at NWR Communications for sponsoring both races. Who's up for the challenge next year?

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we've had to suspend planning for the 2020 Manang Races. This means a delay in setting up our online ticket booking page. But we remain very hopeful that we'll be able to put on a huge event in October.... Stay safe and we'll have another update for you soon.
