22.01.2022 A 2-Part Review from a happy customer! Part 1: Hazel lives in an aged care facility in Booragoon & my job was to install a power outlet by her front door to charge her mobility scooter. Her daughter Lucy wrote, Just letting you know how thrilled (my mum) Hazel was with your work. She said you were such a lovely person. The scooter arrived on the Friday, her actual 99th birthday, so she very proudly drove it to her birthday party at the main lodge.

22.01.2022 Who installed first? The plumber or the electrician. As licenced trades this should never happen. However it still does and is extremely dangerous. Situations like this need to be repaired or made safe immediately. If you have a situation at work or home that doesnt look, perform or feel right, it probably isnt. Get it looked at right away by a licenced person with a good reputation.

22.01.2022 A customer planning home renovations found the point of attachment from the power pole in the street to her house was too low. We installed a 1.75m extension bar & fixed the problem! Need to relocate or raise your point of attachment? Give us a call.

18.01.2022 Happy customer review Part 2: Guy & Lucy (Hazels daughter) had solar put on so needed me to upgrade their newly built house feed from the street, from single phase to three phase. Lucy wrote, Western Power came out unexpectedly to inspect the outside work that you & Jay did, and was very happy with it. Also, the electrician who did the original work (new build) came out for a minor repair. It turns out, he had been as frustrated as anyone else with the wiring set-up, for all the same reasons. Anyway, he asked to see your work on the sub-board and he said it was beautiful work. Thanks for the feedback!

18.01.2022 Here is a good example of why it is important to test your Residual Current Safety Devices every three months using the test button. RCDs save lives. However they can become faulty and not function as they should. When working correctly they should turn off the power in under 40 milliseconds, here it took approximately 3 seconds. This puts peoples lives at serious risk. Please test safety switches in your home or investment property and get a qualified electrician to make a...ny repairs. 17.01.2022 Get in before 7th July 2017! Western powers pole to pillar service fee of $681 will be increasing to: $3,400 - if you are on the same side of the road as the overhead $4,900 - if you are on the opposite side of the road to the overhead... for all applications received after 7/7/2017. If you suspect you may need to convert your over head supply to under ground in the future I recommend you book and pay for this soon, even if the work and subsequent connection (included in the dome install fee) happens at a later stage. 15.01.2022 This is a great reminder about the electrical hazards present in older homes. Vulcanised Indian Rubber cables are still in use in many homes today. Homes of this age always have a build up of dust and leaf litter in the roof space, making the fire hazard from this cabling a ticking time bomb. 14.01.2022 ESV is sad to report that a man was electrocuted at his home last night while attempting to install a powerpoint. Please never attempt any electrical work if you are not licensed or qualified - even if you think you know what you are doing. Always use a licensed tradie.

Unreliability and unsafe situations will occur much more frequently when using inferior products.... Clipsal have released an entirely new range and I am very impressed with the final outcome now available, with more features to be released in the future. Please remember, you get what you pay for, and cheaper now does not always mean more spending money later on.

08.01.2022 Old fuse wire holders are a big fire risk when not used correctly. Doubling up fuse wire may seem like a solution to a problem however this will almost guarantee a fire somewhere in the house where a fault is present. Upgrading your switch board to miniature circuit breakers and RCD protection is highly recommended where out dated circuit protection is still in use

06.01.2022 I will be at this event helping people repair electrical appliances, toys, or any household items to prevent them going to landfill un-necessarily. Re-use, reduce, recycle, share, belong, grow and sustainability, are things I think we can all benefit from and encourage everyone to participate in.

05.01.2022 http://www.commerce.wa.gov.au//consumer-warning-about-dodg Unfortunately there are some dodgy trades and builders out there giving us all a bad name. I have also been left out of pocket by Mark Shaw from Complete Ceilings and Renovations after completing quoted work as agreed and now he will not pay. Please check with a simple google search before using builders and trades and know that its only a handful that maliciously do the wrong thing with customers and contractors.

04.01.2022 This may not look like much of a fault and may have been this way for some time. Especially as power to the home is not affected in any way. However the damaged conduit and termination box sitting in such a way make it very easy for water to get in and also for the 415 volts to make contact with the gutter, potentially livening up the whole roof. This line is not fused or RCD protected and so can quickly turn deadly. If you have any doubt with overhead cables please send a photo to Mancini Electrical. I can determine the priority of the fault and quickly repair or replace damaged, unsafe installations.

04.01.2022 We see some interesting faults! This client's Power Safety Switch started tripping, but they couldn't find a faulty appliance. We discovered this badly installed & now damaged cable, wedged between 2 timbers. It's been there for years (since house was built!) but has only started causing issues recently.

This is mandatory when selling or renting a property. We recommend this is done every 12mths for your familys safety at home, and that Landlords & Property Managers schedule this annually too.
