21.01.2022 5. It is good for business Mark Zuckerberg is wowing audiences across the world with his new Chinese Skills, especially those important business executives in China. Infact, there are many top CEO’s that speak Chinese as a second language. Whether you’re the CEO of a company or on the front lines of customer service, if your industry does business with China, learning the language and the culture is a valuable investment of your time. It only makes sense, since the world's largest ethnic group is Chinese with Mandarin being the world's most spoken language.

Just grab some cardboard, plastic cups, laces and you’re good to make some monster shoes! Inspired by @kizlarinaasikanne . Place some trays/bowls across from each other and have your little ones transfer items from one side to the other. Use balls or anything you have that fits inside the plastic cup. 08.01.2022 A map of the world has highlighted the importance of languages in shaping the cultural identity of a country. The maps are part of an infographic created by MoveHub, a website for people looking to move abroad, which swap the names of countries around the world for their second languages. In a series of maps of the world's continents - Europe, North America, South America, Central America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East - the maps highlight the effects of colonisation and ...cultural imperialism. Over the next few weeks, we'll be uploading 6 smaller maps and breaking this big map down!

23.12.2021 Learning Mandarin is Fun! There is an enjoyment that comes from being able to converse with others in their native language and the sense of achievement. It is also fun to discover words in a foreign language that don’t exist in your native tongue. The fun of learning a foreign language is discovering differences in how people view the world. It’s fun to think about why dogs say woof in English, wang wang in Mandarin and wow wow in Cantonese.

08.12.2021 Learning Mandarin is not as hard as you think Despite the difference in Chinese characters, most people overestimate how difficult it is to learn. Yes, there are challenges to learning Mandarin. The biggest is probably because while English uses phonetic writing, Mandarin is composed of pictograms and semi-phonetic ideograms.... The good news is, this is the hardest thing about Mandarin. There are also things you don’t have to learn, like tenses, cases, genders, or other simple grammars which are required for most other languages. Given how much time a new language learner normally spends on learning genders, tenses, and other grammar rules, you’ll bypass all of that when you decide to learn Chinese.
