24.01.2022 Instructors Matt & Lauren experiencing the first hand view of being inside a house fire, how quickly it takes over, how high the temperature rises and how quickly the air becomes toxic through a VR headset. Hopefully we can get the Cadets to the Heritage Education Centre in Perth so they can have the same experience.

Bob is an absolute asset to the Cadet program always going out of his way to make sure the Cadets get the best, get the best experiences and have loads of fun! ... The rain didn’t dampen the enthus...iasm of DFES personnel and volunteers participating in the purification ritual, which is performed to cleanse the spirit, body and soul. Well done to the Cadets from John Tonkin and Cannington Colleges, Wanneroo Joondalup SES and Coolup BFB for leading the flag raising. #NAIDOC2020

03.01.2022 This terms theme is all about Communications! Comms is one of the most important parts across the board in all Emergency Services. Were aiming to establish basic voice procedure, operation and fault finding on a range of equipment, integrating comms into situations and how if its done well can make any operation run a lot smoother! ... Of course we hope the Cadets can be professionals at the Phonetic Alphabet too, drop your first name in the comments purely in phonetics (but dont cheat, google doesnt count!)

03.01.2022 This week our cadets took a virtual cooking class! We made some easy peasy restaurant style two minute noodles! They are a staple food of our cadets on camps and hikes!
