25.01.2022 Mangoola brigade are assisting local land owners conducting some pile burns today off Golden Highway just outside Denman toward Sandy Hollow. You will see some smoke generated from these throughout the day. Remeber, if you see an uncontrolled fire with no fire appliance in attendance call 000.

11.01.2022 Today, some Mangoola members undertook their SWR (safe working roofs) course at Denman. It turned out to be a great day besides the fresh wind. This further enhances Mangoola Rural Fire Brigades scope of capabilities to better protect, assist and serve our local communities when called apon.... Well done and congratulations to those members from our brigade that spent their Saturday upskilling, we thank you all for putting in the time and effort and professionalism. 08.01.2022 Today, Mangoola Rural Fire brigade had the privilege to be given a $5000 Ministers Discretionary donation to our brigade in recognition to their efforts for some new PPE lockers. The members who were apart of the 2019/2020 Black Summer fires were also handed our Premieres Citation awards for their contribution to the efforts for the fire season, our brigade fought many fires locally to the Hunter Valley but also travelled NSW and ACT assisting other areas where we could. A Sp...ecial Thankyou to the team below for the recognition and continued support and to those for attending today. 03.01.2022 The front is now moving through the Hunter, and it's a beauty. Very strong westerly wind, some light rain too. This is moving through very quickly... Humidity and dew points are climbing, and air pressure and temperatures are dropping. The coldest air is not too far behind this front.... Any precipitation that falls over Barrington Tops tonight, is likely to fall as snow Snow is already falling over parts of the Central Tablelands, and down lower than initially forecast. They will not visit every backyard, but they should be reasonably widespread. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued, and parts of the Hunter are included....
