25.01.2022 Friendship collages were the focus of last week's scrapbooking club. The children took photos with their friends and added creative designs using glitter, stamps, pens and more. Some kids elected to take their designs home, whereas others asked to hang them up in the moshc building. It is wonderful to see the beautiful friendships between children at moshc.

24.01.2022 Tomorrow we are off to Aussie World. Everyone needs to be at MOSHC by 7:15am and we will be back by 3:30pm. 23.01.2022 Our bowling excursion yesterday was highly enjoyable. Healthy competition, hand-eye coordination and muscle toning were all displayed throughout the games. Staff and students shared the celebrations when someone bowled a strike or a spare.

23.01.2022 Messy play on Friday was exactly as the name suggested- MESSY!!! We had a great time jumping in mud, sliding on the slip-and-slime, making slime, throwing colour and running through the sprinklers. No outfit was left clean by the end of the day!

22.01.2022 A Star Wars scavenger hunt took place at Junior Adventure playground. The children had a wonderful time running around and finding various clues to complete the challenge.

21.01.2022 ZONE BOWLING FAMILIES Tomorrow we are off to Zone Bowling and Capalaba Regional Park. You only need to pack morning tea and water bottle as lunch is provided Hot Dogs and Chips and Zone Bowling. Please remember your children need to wear sun smart clothing, enclosed shoes and socks. Please be at MOSHC by 9am for a 9:30am departure.

20.01.2022 Chalk drawing allows children to experience making art on new textures and materials. Beyond being just an activity to facilitate social interaction, it provided a learning opportunity for some kids to realise that in order to ensure the longevity, fullness and vibrancy of colours, they needed to rub the chalk into the pavement using their fingers. What a fantastic and fun way for children to express their creativity!

18.01.2022 Tomorrow we are ending our holidays with a relaxing pyjama party and movie day. We encourage everyone to come dressed in their most comfortable PJs!!

17.01.2022 VERY IMPORTANT PROGRAM REMINDER! Australia Zoo Excursion is tomorrow 23/09/2020. Every child needs to bring their own backpacks with 2 water bottles, morning tea, lunch and a spare change of clothes. Enclosed shoes and sun safe clothing are necessary too. ... Children need to be at MOSHC before 7:15am for a 7:45am departure.

15.01.2022 Our adventures at the park...

14.01.2022 After bowling, we ventured to Capalaba Regional Park where the children were able to play independently, interdependently and spontaneously with one another. With a flying fox, spider web frame and lots of other play equipment the children were able to utilise their sense of agency within the bounds of the playground.

13.01.2022 Yesterday we went on our first excursion of the holidays and it was a raging success. All the children had a great time bouncing on the huge array of trampolines, playing dodgeball and practicing their ninja warrior skills in the x-park. The children showed impressive strength and stamina for the entirety of our two-hour session. What a fun workout!

10.01.2022 Yesterday's rock climbing wall was a great success! The children showed great perseverance, bravery and strength in the fitness challenge.

09.01.2022 Good Morning MOSHC Families, Mr C has announced that as of Monday 23/11/2020 Families can now come on site for Drop Off and Pick up. Keeping in mind that Rajani or Myself are not usually in the office during MOSHC Hours we have decided to change where sign in and out will be. BSC - You can still use 2min Zone until 8am and then sign in will be next to the tuckshop where our display board is and you can take your child to Zone 1 for Preps and Year 1's or Zone 3 for Year 2+. ... ASC - Sign out will be at the Display Board and a staff member from Zone 2 will call for your child and you have the option to wait in Zone 2 out the front of Tuckshop or go and collect your child from the area that they are at. Please remember the following: - Please Adhere 1.5m apart from each other - Sanitise your hands when arriving at MOSHC - If your child is inside as per school policy we ask that you wait for your child to leave MOSHC.
