24.01.2022 BARN INSPO When it came time to plan the general style for #thebarnatberry , we already had a fairly firm idea on the general shape we wanted. After a bit of brainstorming with Mel and Craig, we landed on a design we love. While this isn't exactly the shape we will have, we go back and reference this image for the general feel. Sometimes it's just the elements on an image that inspire, like these warm timbers, fresh whites and old world panelling vibes....

24.01.2022 A classic shaker-style kitchen with a twist Instead of typical timber floors, Mel suggested using this custom blend of terracotta-toned herringbone porcelain tiles for this kitchen and galley space. This really suited the style our clients were hoping to create. This pattern gives an elegant look while remaining durable and great for it's commercial application.

23.01.2022 What a difference the mortar drying makes The bricks are coming up a treat now that they are drying out, it brings up a great contrast in these Hawksbury house numbers from the Brick Pitt. We were pretty keen to make sure that we stayed away from anything too cream or orange based, and as the Barn will have black exterior lighting, these seemed like to best choice to complement the overall scheme.

05.01.2022 NEW BLOG It’s not often you have the chance to renovate an entire country retreat, so we were pretty excited when the team at Bundara Farm reached out! This renovation was a mammoth task with a tight deadline and saw us update 10 bathrooms, 4 kitchens, a cellar and laundry, as well as a brand new deck! For our Bundara Farm project, we saw the fireplace as a convenient way to tick both the practicality and presentation boxes, in one easy step, and so added cornice and colour to lift it's style game Warming? Yes. Inviting? Yes. Impressive and eye-capturing? Also yes.
