24.01.2022 Day 3 of Santa 6 day orienteering and @jeybird8 joined me this morning for a cruise around the .... mounds of opportunity... that is Anzac Park. Good bit of fun.... 18.01.2022 Beautiful Weather for today. Be great as it starts to cool this afternoon for a little trot around the Meadowlands/Minnippi parklands. Come along and have som...e fun to finish off the weekend. Q and A Q. Do I need to run? A. Nope. This is for all fitness levels and age groups. Today you have 40 min to cover what you can do running, walking or strolling. Q. Is it kid friendly? A. Absolutely Kids will love it, with the App Beeping and Buzzing to let them know they have gotten another checkpoint. (plenty of adults get a kick out of it too) Q. Do I need to know how to navigate? A. It helps if you do, but we can teach you. And what better way to learn or improve than by having a go in a fun social environment with no pressure. Q. What time does it start? A. Although the official start time is 4pm, we are very flexible on it. Someone will be onsite from around 3.30 till 6 to help you start and finish. As the timing is by the App, you dont have a group start time. So want to start a bit later as it gets cooler or caught up with something else making you late? Thats fine as there is no group start that you might miss. Turn up when it suits you and just have fun. Hope to see you this afternoon. MapRun Parks Team.

14.01.2022 Big Nav weekend ahead. Saturday: We have the Park-O series kicking off in the afternoon in Fig Tree Pocket. Great starter into traditional orienteering for all ages with special sessions for the younger ones. Sunday: MapRun Parks heads into the city at Roma Street Parklands for a Line Course. Going to be a great weekend to get out and get active. Hope to see you there.
