11.01.2022 Today marks the Feast of Mar Awtel and we would like to wish you a Happy Feast Day especially those who bear his name! May Mar Awtel overlook and protect the people of Kfarsghab and abroad. We pray for Mar Awtel’s intercession especially in these trying times. Join us in the prayer to Mar Awtel: O Miraclous Mar Awtel, dear Saint of God, who has known the true God and renounced everything to preserve faith, charity and obedience. You saved the travellers from drowning by your... prayers and baptised them. You entered the wilderness of Antioch and followed a strict monastic life in communion with God by prayer. Fasting and penance until you were granted from God the gifts of Miracles, casting out devils and healing of the sick. We beg you through your intercession to obtain for us from God to heal all the sick who intercede through you and grant us all eternal glory in heaven where we can glorify God, with all his Saints forever. Amen.

07.01.2022 On behalf of all the Kfarsghab Community in Australia The Mar Awtel Charity Trust are pleased to announce that we have forwarded funds to our brothers and sisters in our beloved village Kfarsghab. These funds are to assist and help them in this time of hardship where they are struggling with the challenges of COVID-19 as well as the continued Government and Political unrest. Some 234 families within the village and another 24 families living outside the village have benefite...d from the generosity of our Kfarsghab community in Australia. Be assured that our brothers and sisters in Kfarsghab have relayed their Blessings, Prayers and sincerest Gratitude to each and every one of us here in Australia. The Trust will continue to monitor the situation in Kfarsghab and we will keep our community informed on any further developments. We would like to thank each and every Kfarsghabi in Australia for their generosity and support of the Mar Awtel Charity Trust. Your continued generosity and support enables us to act as per our Trust Deed of 1964 which states We are to support the village of Kfarsghab, North Lebanon in times of hardship, war, famine and poverty We trust that Mar Awtel will continue to Bless and look after all Kfarsghabis all over the world.
