19.01.2022 As an essential service providing fresh food supplies to the community, the Marden Market is open to the public this Saturday 21st November 2020. Fresh produce categories including fruit and veg, eggs, seafood, and nut stalls are open for business. All non-fresh produce stalls such as Coffee, Takeaway Food, Plants and similar stalls will be closed during the State’s circuit breaking restrictions. The Marden Market will provide further updates on the status of Market trading ...as they come to light. The SA Government’s Official Directions will be published and instructions will be provided in further detail as the situation progresses. Shoppers must comply with the restrictions by sending only one person per household to shop, wearing a mask, keeping social distance and sanitising hands using the hygiene stations located at the entrance. Numbers will be limited into the market in accordance with the Markets Covid Safe Plan. The Marden Market is continuing to implement the following measures: - Sanitiser station at the entry. - Additional hand washing and personal hygiene signage in bathrooms. - Working closely with all traders to ensure best practice food safety and food handling and cleaning measures for shared equipment. - Regular announcements for social distancing. - Reviewing key locations throughout the Market during the day and managing as required. - Shoppers are also reminded of Fruit Fl restrictions and ensuring all fruit is adequately covered at all times.
