Even though this was more of a social ride than a race, we still need significant number...s to cover basic costs ( light tower hire, pizzas, toilet hire etc ) and we feel the interest wasn’t there ( for many reasons), so the decision was made to call it off. 21.01.2022 An inspection was completed today and I’m pleased to report our trails are open for riding. The rain has been kind to us with minimal washouts and damage. The creeks & gullies are flowing nicely and the trails are sweet

13.01.2022 Hi everyone, In light of recent updates from the relevant authorities regarding Corona virus the Mareeba Mountain Goats Inc have decided to cancel this weekends event which was scheduled for Sunday, 22 March at Davies Creek Mountain Bike Park. For those of you that have already registered please bear with us and we will endeavour to process a refund for you in due course. 08.01.2022 Davies Creek Mountain Bike Park is currently closed due to a fire within the park area. We will advise when open and safe to ride again. Thank you to the QPWS, Rural Fire Brigade and QFS for their efforts in controlling this wild fire . Cheers MMG

07.01.2022 DCMTB Park is open under caution at this stage. Please ride to the conditions. There is a small tree over the track on trail 3 which may require a few people in a group to lift or even a small hand saw to cut... if anyone is riding that trail and wouldn’t mind sorting that out it would be appreciated Cheers MMG

07.01.2022 COMMUNITY HELP REQUIRED Over the weekend our Adventure Shed was broken into. 25 "GIANT" brand mountain bike...s have been stolen. Some of them have been dumped around town, most are unaccounted for. If you see any of them please contact the school on (07) 40862777. We would appreciate your assistance so our Outdoor Education Programs can continue. Thank-you.

07.01.2022 Caution Riders: Davies Creek Mountain Bike Park has a tree down on trail 1, approximately 4km from the carpark. This will be cleared in the next few days. If you see something needing attention out on the trails please PM us with a photo, trail number and approximate location so we can attend to it promptly. It was great to see riders of all ages at our mountain bike park today enjoying the sun and having fun. Please remember to social distance yourselves at all times on the trail and in the carpark.
