25.01.2022 Well it's certainly been a busy week at the golf club. You never would have known the greens were cored on Monday! Today we celebrated St. Patricks Day thanks to the generous sponsorship of our gorgeous Irish members Billy & Joan Ross, Maggie Foy and Matt O'Farrell. The course was full of green golf gear and some of us felt the luck of the Irish in each swing.... Another great Sunday mixed comp congratulations to all the winners and we hope everyone had a great day. Let's see if Rory can conjure up some Irish luck and take home the golden trophy at the Players Championships tomorrow morning!

25.01.2022 The RAC Invitational is done and dusted for another year. It was a great day on the course with the sun shining and plenty of fun was had by all the members and guests who participated. 22.01.2022 A fundraiser was held at Margaret River Golf Club on Wednesday, the monies from which will be donated to local charity, River Angels, who support local families affected by cancer. A grand total of $2,679 was raised for this very worthy group of volunteers. Members of MRGC generously donated paintings, dinner vouchers, golf lessons, wine, plants and baked goods to name a few items. Additional funds were raised through the sale of scones and sandwiches and quite a few fines pa...id by the comp players on Wednesday and Thursday, . Thanks to all the members who donated, bought and helped on the day. And congratulations to Leonie Bell and Lyn Glasson for organising such a successful event.

09.01.2022 Today the ladies played for the Eithne Lagan Shield, which commenced in 1978. Eithne is a life member of the Club who was the original doctor in Margaret River and delivered the babies of many of the golfers who play here today. The event which began as a 27 hole championship is now played as an 18 hole stableford competition which honors the generosity of Eithne and her many contributions to the club over the years. Thank you Eithne for your support of the golf club and the lady members. Congratulations to our champion of the day Di Gordon! And Happy Birthday to Leonie Bell who hopes to one day win the shield!
