25.01.2022 So many reasons for a Margaret River Region spring getaway...

25.01.2022 Our first babies on the farm this year and its twins....mum is doing a great job feeding both of them! So it's double trouble in the sheep paddock.... introducing Cookies and Cream

25.01.2022 Best thing to hear is kids playing in the playground and mum and dad playing soccer having a laugh.. .this is the place to be and relax....come on down to Hideaway we will make sure your family is safe...well and having fun

22.01.2022 You won't be short of photo ops' when you visit Hamelin Bay in the south of the Margaret River region. One must-do shot is found in front of the old timber jett...y ruins like LEGO Travellers here snapped on a family fun day out. Did you know the old jetty was once up to 600 metres long and could service three ships at a time! It's a bit of a different scene these days however, the most common activity these pylons see is from the friendly stingrays who gracefully glide up and down the shoreline. See more

22.01.2022 The wait will be worth it, trust us. Your next road trip will be more memorable, the local produce even more delicious and WA businesses more eager than ever to welcome you. #AdventureAwaits #thisisWA

22.01.2022 A million twinkling stars shining down on us Local photographer Hamish Stubbs Photography spent most of Monday night at Sugarloaf Rock capturing the magic Mil...ky Way crossing the sky in this wonderful time lapse. A moonless night made for ideal conditions, and the Margaret River Region is great for stargazing thanks to really low levels of light pollution. Next time you’re in the region, head to Sugarloaf Rock 15 minutes drive north of Dunsborough- it’s spectacular day or night Hamish Stubbs

21.01.2022 Waiting on guests to return, the farm is quiet but guests are calling and making bookings so it wont be long...woohoo!!!

18.01.2022 Hands up, who wants to be a dolphin when they grow up? Frolicking with friends in the surf and sunshine at Yallingup looks like SO much fun! These playful ...dolphins were expertly filmed by Joel Nankivell Southwest Saltwater. We can't give you flippers, but we can recommend surfing lessons and the exhilaration of catching your first wave. Surf the sand breaks with Yallingup Surf School, Josh Palmateer's Surf Academy & Margaret River Mouth Beach Hire or Margaret River Surf School and you'll be happy as a dolphin in no time at all

17.01.2022 GOOD NEWS FOR KIDS AND CHOCCY LOVERS WA Premier Mark McGowan has signed a 'special eggs-emption' for the Easter Bunny to travel into and within Western Australia this Easter.

15.01.2022 Day 29. Happen Upon Animal Encounters Oh hi, handsome! The Margaret River Region is teeming with animal life. You can happen upon kangaroos, bird life, wo...ylies and possums on tours along the Cape to Cape. Or you can visit an animal farm and find chickens, cows, pigs and emus. This cutie pie popped up to say hello when All About Margaret River took guests on a bushwalk looking for wild kangaroos. You could also try: Sunflowers Animal Farm, Wonky Windmill Farm, Eagles Heritage, Country Life Farm, South West Eco Meet the Woylies and Discover Deadly. All About Margaret River Tours start at a farm stay where kids can feed animals and have scones with jam and cream followed by visits to a chocolate factory, a playground, a walk on the Cape Track and a winery (for mum and dad!)

14.01.2022 Day 23. Lose your Bearings Put down the map for a while and just enjoy the ride, because sometimes you find the coolest places when you’re lost! There are t...hree epic mazes in the region A maze'n Margaret River (pictured), Yallingup Maze and Boranup Forest Maze plus the brand new Wow Illusions. Not just for kids, who wouldn't love to get lost in this 25-year-old hedge maze, it's a work of art. It seems creativity has no limits in the Margaret River Region. @danarnopprees via Instagram #30days30ways #wanderoutyonder inspiration > https://www.margaretriver.com/wander-voucher-margaret-rive/

12.01.2022 South west regional borders re-open today, and we're thrilled to welcome visitors to our patch of paradise once again It sounds like a few Perth peeps are p...acking up the kombi and hitting the road, with reports of accommodation businesses heavily booked. Fantastic! Your down south getaway might look a bit different to usual, with many wineries and restaurants opening at a reduced capacity. We've compiled a list of businesses that are open, plus wineries, restaurants and cafes offering takeaway or deliveries - check out https://www.margaretriver.com/whats-open/ This is also a great opportunity to see and do things differently. Refuel at the local bakeries, grab an amazing takeaway from some of the region's best restaurants and conduct your own wine tasting or craft beer research back at the holiday house Welcome back guys.
