10.01.2022 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Matthew 28:6 Good morning church, Our faith is anchored in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Paul said, And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.... But, praise the Lord that He is risen! Jesus tells us in the book of Revelation: I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. We have hope, we have salvation, we have justification, we have joy and peace because of what He did, is doing and will continue to do for us as our Great High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary. Rejoice that the tomb is empty, but now, look to Jesus in the Heavenly Sanctuary, and the things of this world will grow strangely dim.
