23.01.2022 Preparation for the 2021 Yungaburra Triathlon has kicked off with the appointment of Event Manager, Dayle Jordan. Dayle is no stranger to triathlon events, havi...ng coordinated Ultraman Australia since 2014. Dayle said, "I am very excited to be working with the community on this wonderful event. I am looking forward to spending time in Yungaburra and the Atherton Tablelands and getting to know each of you." Dayle will be in and around the region over the coming months and we know you will make her welcome. Stay tuned for further event updates.

Jane Hunt of Bond University, Australia, is investig...ating the ways in which women have shaped triathlon and the factors that have contributed to and hindered their participation in the sport. At the completion of the research phase of this project, there will be a rich resource delving into the experience of women involved in triathlon that can then better inform future decisions and shape the narrative about women in triathlon.
