24.01.2022 Missing Shiatsu and looking forward to offering it again at some point. Meanwhile self shiatsu is possible. I will offer a few videos to show techniques. Wishing you all wellness and peace.

23.01.2022 CLINIC OPEN. YAY!!! HOWEVER I TAKE CORONAVIRUS VERY SERIOUSLY SO HAVE MADE CHANGES SO TREATMENTS CAN BE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE. ... Consultation is done in outdoor waiting area if weather permits. Mask is provided to avoid any asymptomatic droplet contamination as much as possible.... Toilet provided for clients only. This will be cleaned after each use including door handles and taps. My treatment room will be aired between clients. If weather permits windows will be open during the treatment. One client at a time in waiting area and the surfaces will be sprayed with disinfectant between each client. Hand sanitiser and hand washing basin is provided. I will always wear a mask and will cancel appointments if I feel unwell. Tea is provided in disposable cups. Disposable covers and linen changes for each client. PLEASE DO NOT COME IF YOU FEEL UNWELL. ALL SAID....LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW BEGINNING AND HAVE MADE THE SPACE MORE BEAUTIFUL.

22.01.2022 We are in the time of the earth element. The meridians that become active now are the stomach and spleen. I am seeing more sinus and digestive issues. The body tends to become more 'damp' if there is an imbalance. Treatments available on Friday and Saturday.

22.01.2022 A gift from Japan to welcome clients into the clinic. It hangs above the entrance way. This curtain is called a noren. Traditionally these are used to guard against the sun, wind, dust, as well as nosey neighbors.

18.01.2022 Cupping massage. 45 min for $60. I slide a couple of cups on your back, which feels very relaxing, and then leave cups on for 10 to 15 min. Then I finish with massage and liniment. It's very effective for tight muscles and aches and pains. This man had a tight lower and upper back. He wanted 'the works'. I can adjust the location and number of cups to what is needed. Note the red lamp to warm the feet. This is a super rejuvenating experience.

18.01.2022 Open today. Have one evening appointment available. Also appointments available on Friday and Saturday. We are moving into the time of the earth element....late summer. Time of the stomach and spleen meridians. Shiatsu and acupuncture can settle digestion, which can become out of balance this time of year. Also the earth element is about receiving nourishment and nurturing , and giving to others; finding a healthy balance between giving and receiving. Book a treatment by texting or PM.

15.01.2022 Hi. I have decided to stop practicing during this time of virus uncertainty, due to the close contact involved in acupuncture and shiatsu. I will reopen when possible. Contact me with any queries. Take care of yourselves and your families, and enjoy some down time if this is the case.

13.01.2022 Welcome to Spring ! :) The toxins can store in our tissues over the winter, and with more movement and warmer weather the toxins move into the bloodstream to be cleared. Blockage in the meridians can cause pain...such as headaches. We can become more irritable. Spring is a wonderful time to cleanse our houses and bodies. It's time for new beginnings...start something new or revive what already exists. I am open Sunday for treatment.

09.01.2022 A new season. A new element. Lung and Large Intestine meridians are now more active. This is the time of the Metal Element. Any issues with the lung or large intestine may become evident. The large intestine and lungs both control the skin in Chinese Medicine. We may have skin, digestive or respiratory issues this time of year. A great time to heal these issues. Awareness of blockages gives us this opportunity.... Not surprisingly this is the time to let go. I say this every season....but this season is truly the time to totally maximize this. The large Intestine's very function is to let go of waste and what no longer is needed. The body holds on to essential nutrients. We also need to consider what allows us to thrive and what doesn't . Become aware of any fixed emotions or beliefs that no longer serve us. Keep breathing . Allow the breath to help with the release. If we find ourselves holding on, take the next breath. Create something new for yourselves. I love the Autumn. Enjoy the transformation of self. I am available for treatments. On Tuesdays I now do mobile work . Otherwise I am in my clinic in Margate. I treat weekends and evenings also.

02.01.2022 Autumn is the time of the metal element in Chinese Medicine. How apt. It's the time the large Intestine meridians and lung meridians become active. Coronavirus is associated to the metal element as it attacks the lungs. . This world event feels like a shift from old ways to a rebirth....with some chaos in between. It feels like a gateway we are approaching. The large Intestine is about letting go.....what no longer serves us?. What aspects of self won't work from thi...s point on... This is such an intense time, that if we don't know what aspects these are...they will be shown to us. And the lungs is about rebirth. With death there is a renewal too...there is another breath. To have a healthy metal element allow what needs to leave 'leave'. This can mean owning our shadow side and loving ourselves through this transformation. Tears are healing. Embrace rebirth and renewal and move forward with hope , as there are many gifts in this crazy time. Stay home. Stay well.
