21.01.2022 I can’t wait! I love Asparagus! Fresh Spring time Asparagus from Falls Farm near Mapleton is bursting with flavour and delicious added to quiches, salads and or simply sauted with a dash of Alice Laus legendary tamari sauce, some purple garlic and served with a poached egg. ... Also these Jaboticaba are something different to add to your fruit selection! The recent Warm Weather has promoted the ripening process for the next batch of Jaboticaba on Cedric's Taylors Farm- so there's plenty available for the next couple of weeks. The fruit is super glossy and purple this year and tastes as good as it looks. The seasons are changing again and so is our food!

10.01.2022 I thought I would share this ! This farmer is my supplier for my stone fruit! Denis Angelino's farm in the Granite Belt has experienced black frost which has burnt many of his Peach, Plum and Nectarine flowers. Denis' farm sits a little lower in the region making it more prone to frosts. His stone fruit is usually ready to harvest in December, so lets hope some trees make a recovery. Denis has had a rough 5 years with drought, frosts and hail reducing his harvests of old vari...ety stone fruit to a trickle.
