The lighthouse is in the Mount William National Park at the northern end of the Bay of Fires. 17.01.2022 New tours starting Sat 4th July! Join us on the weekends of July as we explore Maria Island and Ile Des Phoques with our new and modified tours. The first to...ur is a variation of our award winning day tour and includes a 3-hour scenic cruise of Maria Island's stunning coastline to Riedle Bay with a 2-hour stay on the island including a gentle walk of Maria's World Heritage listed convict settlement. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, lunch will no longer be provided as a buffet onboard the boat. Instead, we ask guests to bring their own packed lunch to be enjoyed back ashore at Maria Island. Morning tea will be provided and will include freshly brewed tea, coffee, orange juice, soft drinks, soda water and still water. Homemade lemon slice, fruit cake, gluten and dairy free fruit balls will also be offered during morning tea on the boat. Local wines (Darlington Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc) and Tasmanian premium lager will also be offered for purchase during the lunch break. Your tour also includes park entry. For those who have annual park passes, a $10pp refund will be provided to you. 05.01.2022 This is a beautiful place. Walking this beach to the point, sitting on the sand and looking out to Lachlan Island and Maria Island is one of the most loved local experiences. If you have a boat, the fishing off this beach is not too bad either! Tassie life is pretty good
