25.01.2022 Seeing blue. I have just completed this beauty which will be available over at Courtesy of the Artist in The Strand Arcade soon. Handmade out of 18ct yellow gold and featuring a lovely 1ct blue pear shaped Australian sapphire.

25.01.2022 Celebrating the beauty of Australian gemstones. Opal from South Australia, sapphire from Queensland in 18ct yellow gold.

24.01.2022 Speckled Australian turquoise from the Northern Territory. This piece and ALL of the turquoise I work with is naturally occurring and hasn’t gone through any treating processes. I sourced this piece last week and am a little obsessed.

24.01.2022 I have a small little collection of opal rings available in store at @courtesyoftheartist. There’s boulder opal and crystal opal, including this piece, which features a crystal opal from Andamooka in South Australia in 18ct yellow gold. Wear it stacked or beautifully on its own.

24.01.2022 The sweetest Australian parti sapphire in 18ct yellow gold. Set horizontally with four petite round claws.

24.01.2022 I have been part of the wonderful Courtesy of the Artist family for almost 9 years. We’re a family full of love and laughs - we have so much passion for what we do and so much support for one other. Gem curator, gallery director, and all round beauty Nina Cueva interviewed me a few weeks ago for this years virtual Rare Earth: Australian Made series. Be sure to head over to the Courtesy of the Artist instagram page to watch her chat with fellow resident artists (which are slowly being released over the weeks).

22.01.2022 A gold leaf for Persephone.

22.01.2022 Custom wedding bands complete and delivered this morning! The ring on the left is half white gold and half yellow gold, and the ring on the right is yellow gold with a beautiful Australian parti sapphire. Both rings have a soft, brushed, matte finish. I just adore this set ... https://marinaantoniou.com/product/jessie-and-chris/

21.01.2022 Aussie Boulder opal drawing from a while back.

19.01.2022 Natural Australian turquoise from the Northern Territory - first found back in the 1970’s. These stones are so incredibly unique and no two are ever the same! This ring is available over at @courtesyoftheartist in the @strandarcade.

17.01.2022 A textured 18ct yellow gold cross and delicate leaf charm for Persephone. A recent commission for @courtesyoftheartist.

17.01.2022 From outback Northern Territory, this piece of natural Australian turquoise resembles a dry, desert land surrounded by sea. This ring is one of a kind and is currently available over at @courtesyoftheartist in the @strandarcade. Thank you @cesar.cueva for capturing it in the most beautiful way possible!

15.01.2022 Just completed. Yellow gold and diamond granule studs. My idea of a classic, everyday pair of earrings.

13.01.2022 I have started up a little journal on my new website, which I will update regularly with news and my latest creations. Happy reading! https://marinaantoniou.com/category/journal/

12.01.2022 Natural Australian turquoise from the Northern Territory in an 18ct yellow gold cuff. One of my favourite creations to date captured flying high by @cesar.cueva!

12.01.2022 For those of you that have asked for all things rose, here is a little selection of the rose gold pieces I have in stock! These six items are available to purchase online here https://marinaantoniou.com/product-category/ready-to-ship/

12.01.2022 An 18ct yellow gold Eucalypt charm with a beautiful bright Australian parti sapphire from Queensland. https://marinaantoniou.com/p/eucalypt-necklace-yellow-gold/

11.01.2022 This is me. And I have had this jewellery business of mine for over 10 years. And this is my studio. In my little nook, I celebrate time-honoured processes and techniques and use a collection of new and pre-owned hand tools to bring my creations to life. My studio has changed a lot over the years - it first began in what was basically a walk in cupboard under the stairs at my parents house! My space today is definitely a lot sunnier, brighter and organised (ie childproofed!...). Although a lot has changed over the last 10 years, I am still the passionate, hardworking designer, jeweller and business owner that I was back then. There have been incredible highs and bumps in the road - but I am so grateful for everyone that has supported me and my journey thus far. Thank you Damien Milan Photography for capturing this photo of me in my space, my happy place.

10.01.2022 My gold granule studs with Australian sapphires.

09.01.2022 A cluster of diamonds, sapphires and granules in 18ct yellow gold for Jen. This piece is actually three separate stack rings, and all six diamonds in the rings have come from a very special family heirloom - Jen’s Grandma’s ring (swipe across to see the original ring). I always feel such a big responsibility when remodelling sentimental pieces for friends. But it’s totally worth the nerves. This was such a special piece to make.

08.01.2022 Handcrafted 18ct yellow gold studs set with two crystal opals from Andamooka, South Australia. These studs are available exclusively at @courtesyoftheartist in the @strandarcade as part of the @rareearthaustralianmade collection. I work with only the best opal, and each and every piece is handmade out of 18ct gold to fit the stones I select. No castings, no moulds, just traditional hand fabricated settings that allow these iridescent, glowing gemstones to shine. Tap to shop or to find out more.

08.01.2022 My Turquoise and Sapphire Eucalypt necklace has found a new home! This piece is a lovely little representation of Australia. The turquoise (from the Northern Territory) symbolises open spaces - the sea, the sky, the lakes, the waterholes, whilst the parti sapphire (from Queensland) represents the evergreen Eucalyptus forests that occur across the land. @courtesyoftheartist

08.01.2022 Off to Melbourne she goes! A @courtesyoftheartist custom 18ct white gold ring featuring a natural Australian turquoise from the Northern Territory. What a wonderful process this has been - Anna and I worked virtually and she has been such a dream to work with. I’ve stacked one of my Aussie sapphire rings next to hers - I just adored the combination. #rareearthaustralianmade

06.01.2022 I can’t even tell you how many years ago one of my best friends came to me for her first jewellery consultation. We went around in circles, went forward, then backwards, we met again and again to the point where it became a running joke! And finally, all these years and consultations later, here it is! A custom 18ct rose gold pendant with two of Cosie’s heirloom diamonds clustered around two Australian sapphires. The centre stone, the parti green sapphire, was chosen by Cosie to represent her grandmother, who she loved dearly and who loved the colour green. It’s perfect.

04.01.2022 Rare Earth. Speckled Australian turquoise from the Northern Territory. This piece and ALL of the turquoise I work with is naturally occurring and hasn’t gone through any treating processes. I sourced this piece last week and am a little obsessed. @rareearthaustralianmade

04.01.2022 Brushed white gold with an Australian argyle diamond. A close up shot of my granule cuff.

02.01.2022 An opal from South Australia with glowing, shifting colours. This stone reminds me of the pastel colour the sky turns at sunset in winter. This ring is available Courtesy of the Artist in The Strand Arcade.
