15.01.2022 For those who like to do this, here is your yearly reminder. Snapfish books are discounted from now til 1st January. Pick up from your local Kmart is free. Download the snapfish app to upload photos from your phone. Then hop on your laptop and create your 2019 book. Print a copy for children/family and one for you. If you dont print photos anymore then do this. Its worth it.

12.01.2022 Happy reading! I say "happy reading" instead of goodbye to every student when they leave the library at the end of a lesson. I do genuinely hope that they feel happy when reading.

12.01.2022 Spending my days at the beach picking up plastic and rope while my children swim (yes its freezing), fish and make sandcastles. Picking up rubbish is therapeutic for me, I search the sand for plastic and listen to the waves crashing in while my children play. The plastic concerns me, especially the really tiny pieces. And I want to leave a beach better than I found it.
