25.01.2022 Meet Michael our friendly Diversional Therapist. Michael has a degree in Health Science and has a strong background in the not-for-profit and Aged Care space. He loves to keep active and enjoys all things sport! He spends quite a bit of his spare time coaching Rugby League for his local club. Lead by Michael, our dedicated leisure and lifestyle team ensure the happiness of our residents by learning about their likes, dislikes and passions they then tailor our lifestyle ...activities and develop methods to increase mental wellbeing. He works closely with our Registered Nurses to implement thoughtful and effective programs around their individual preferences. Michael is always smiling! He truly loves his job and attributes that to the genuine friendships he builds with all our residents and the wonderful leisure and lifestyle team he has created around him. 03.01.2022 Mark Moran Little Bay is presenting a series of events, that explore engaging and important topics in the seniors community. We are excited to introduce our first Speaker for 2020 - concert pianist, Ambre Hammond. She will be presenting a talk on Thursday 5 March from 10.30am-11.30am. Ambre broke a world record in achieving her music diplomas at age 11, has performed solo and with orchestras in more than 20 countries, as well as performing at the Sydney Opera House alongsid...e Hollywood composer Lalo Schifrin and renowned trumpeter James Morrison. She will also share stories about her humanitarian project Girl Piano Truck and will close the event by playing some beautiful original compositions along with works by the likes of Mozart and Beethoven.
