25.01.2022 "Are you a local business or artist wondering how ArtWalk 2020 is going to run this year? Then read on. Due to COVID restrictions, the main event for 2020 will... be a special showcase aiming to create the LONGEST FOOTPATH ART GALLERY from Thursday 1 October to Thursday 8 October 2020 (inclusive) in the CBDs of Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton. If you are an artist, creative, school or community group, we encourage to find a business and negotiate the use of the shop front window as your own gallery space for the week. You could Hang painted artworks Display pottery or crafts Use a digital screen to stream live or recorded performances or graphic design and animation Create an art installation by partnering with a school or community group Fashion a scene using original garment designs Stage a series of live performances in shop windows - or even live tattooing! The list is endless...comment your own ideas below Don't worry if you have not matched with either the business or artist, we can help you.
