25.01.2022 CPP20218 - CERT 2 IN SECURITY OPERATIONS - $895.00 QUALIFY AT THE NEW STANDARD effective Sep 2019. This course has been modified to suit COVID 19 protocols. It ...is conducted via a combination of external study and 3 days full time attendance (0900 to1700hr daily) at our training centre and indoor firing range at 163 Franklin Street Adelaide. Completion of this course will allow graduates to apply for General Guarding, Crowd/Venue Control licence endorsements via Consumer and Business Affairs SA . There is immediate start upon enrolment via external study followed by a 3 day full time attendance practical skills training block starting each month. . SAPD APPROVED SECURITY FIREARMS LICENCE (H6) TRAINING $1895 (Includes ammunition up to 800 rds) For full "Guarding with a Firearm" Licence you can complete CPP20218 - Certificate 11 in Security Operations and then complete an additional SAPD approved 5 day course for Self Loading Pistol and Revolver course for SA (Category H 6 Firearms Licence) and which includes the new Nationally approved firearms Certificate 111 in Security Operations Units of Competency. Attendees will need to be cleared by SAPD before attending this course. Note: We are currently not taking enrolments for this course due to closure of range under COVID 19 protocols. We are taking expressions of interest in anticipation of an easing of COVID 19 restrictions in mid to late May 2020. 15.01.2022 JOIN THE CLUB Adelaide Indoor Firearms Association Inc (AIFA) is one of South Australia's largest and fastest growing pistol and rifle clubs. ABOUT THE RANGE We... are an all weather centrally located club operating 5 days per week at the Marksman Indoor Firing Range at 163 Franklin Street, ADELAIDE SA. We have 2 separate firing bays of 5 firing points each. The targets are sent out and returned via an electric motor system controlled from each of the firing line bench rests. The system is safer and more time efficient in terms of scoring and patching out targets. Match stages (usually handgun matches) consist of 50 rounds each and take around 30 mins each. Cat 1,2,3 & 4 handguns can be fired during most matches. COMPETITIONS Competitions are available during the day Mon - Fri each week and from 1800 to 2000 Tues & Wed nights. We are close public holidays. Competition Times during the day vary to suit shift workers. Members practice sessions are also scheduled Mon - Fri. The club is ideal for time poor persons. Make a booking that suits your timetable. Arrive on time, sign in, do your 50 round competition, score and enter in the sign in book and leave. No hanging around all day waiting to do your competition or practice shoot. Of course if you want to stay for a chat -you are most welcome. FIREARMS DEALERSHIP We have an onsite firearms dealership where you can buy firearms, ammunition & accessories. Note: Strict provisions of the SA Firearms Act & Regulations apply. CATEGORY A1, B1 & H1 CLUB FIREARMS (HANDGUN/RIFLE/SHOTGUN LICENCE COURSES) The club is SAPOL accredited to deliver training for the above licenses. No firearms licence needed but ID and Proof of Age is required. Persons over 14 years and under 18 years need a parent or guardian to accompany them. Check conditions of use when you phone us. We have spaces left on our range for this week and Saturday PM, but you will need to book a session time on 8231 4888. You can choose from a variety of hand gun packages to fire so when you call us ask us and we will give the options and prices for the various packages! The Trevs Special and the Super Trev's Special are our most popular packages if you want to try 4 different calibre handguns. Even Super Mario tried the Trevs and loved it!
