19.01.2022 With the spread of COVID-19 its important that we self-isolate as much as possible to minimise the harm. I know this has had an impact on many creatives (myself included), Im lucky to have an ever-supportive wife that works full-time. Without her I wouldnt have survived as long as I have. With the cancellation of many gigs, festivals and other events, its important to support artists any way you can. Buy merch, stream their songs, buy their artworks or prints.... @mitchlowephoto has actually setup an amazing website to purchase some prints (link in bio). 04.01.2022 Wildlands Festival was the very last festival I photographed before lockdown. I realise now that I had starting taking my opportunities for granted, I had been at it for so long that it normalised what I did for work and I often feel like I didnt make the most of them at the time. Ive got a new fire inside me to get back at it once we start coming out the other end of this awful pandemic.... In the meantime, stay safe out there!
