24.01.2022 I always find it interesting that the camera and the eye can see the same image but both see it differently. The camera captures what is there and the human eye/brain sees what it thinks should be there. Point in question for those that attended the Bates Equestrian Clinic last Saturday and thought towards the end of the day it was quite nippy, I did, it was darn cold. Now hands up how many of you actually saw the frost appear on the ground as the sun moved off the arena. Check out this image.

18.01.2022 Okay! I've screwed up big time but I'll try and get away with the excuse it's a challenge for the participants of Show Jumping at Bates Equestrian Protocol ODE last Sunday. Well somehow I manage to delete some of my markers on the computer that separate the various heights for the last 3 heights. So I've put them all in the one folder and you can play "Find me if you can" :-) :-) Do I need to out run Foxy that Melissa captured on the XC course????

17.01.2022 Well I must have really done something to upset the facebook fun police this is about my sixth attempt to post this. Every time I have almost finished it just vanishes and I have to start again. Anyway the photos I took of the Interschools competition, Sundays show jumping 75cm photos, from Arena 2 are now up. I believe that Shelle still has photos to add to this album so if your faithful steeds photo is not there keep checking back .

15.01.2022 Finally... Show jumping all done and dusted or so the saying goes but I don't know any other sayings for it except cold, wet and going home. Not many images for the 120cm and 125cm we where just washed out, raining too hard to get any good images...... Next time :-)

14.01.2022 Wow what a fantastic weekend run by Berrima HT, committee, volunteers and then all the amazing riders! Snapshotaustralia had a great time with Mel and Kia covering 2 full days. Kia covered all the showjumping on both Saturday and Sunday and Mel covered dressage on Saturday and Cross Country all Sunday... Mel has reportedly been using her camera like a gun again there is a sneak peek of dressage and some cross country online. Applica...tions for Round 1 of the COVID-19 Club Grants closed on 24 Aug 20, with 45 applications received. Successful clubs will be notified by Wednesday 2 Sep 20. Round 2 is now open, with applications, up to a value of $2,000 per project, to be submitted by Monday 21 Sep 20. Under the current NSW Health recommendations, local training days and competitions are encouraged, with out-of-region accredited EA coaches and officials allowed, under strict adherence to COVID-19 Safety Plans.
