25.01.2022 I'm madly making for a huge order for the Ningaloo Centre to be dropped off tomorrow. Here's a sneak peak of a little range titled "Ningaloo Marine Park" x @ Exmouth, Western Australia

25.01.2022 Crisp edges - takes a bit more time, but I love the look x

22.01.2022 On Wednesday's I will now be in the gallery to allow Alana time during the day to work on new originals. Today was my first day and it was so lovely connecting with the customers coming in. I also want to show you the work of some of the amazing and talented people Alana has in the gallery.... Introducing Tara of @coralcapedesigns - her unique jewellery incorporates fresh water pearls and stirling silver. She has been very popular over the years - had a break - then started back up last year during Covid. I believe she has been going great guns since x

22.01.2022 A few more boards ready for @ningalooinspired - I'll be working there tomorrow and Wednesday so it's a great chance to meet the maker! Gallery opening hours 9am - 2pm x

21.01.2022 A massive thank you to everyone that came to the Christmas market at the Exmouth Shire Hall on Saturday. It was my biggest market ever having sold two thirds of my stock in just 3 hours! Massive given I made most of it in 10 days! Lots of changes coming. We have bought a home up here and will be moving mid December. Having a space again that does not have to be packed away for visitors is just so exciting. It's been a challenge not having a routine. I've also decided to... look into rebranding next year. I have a new lease of life since moving up here - it has shown through my work - now I want it to show through my logo. The name will of course, remain the same. I also recognise I have neglected my amazing online followers. Covid has put Exmouth into overdrive since the WA borders reopened. Support for locally made products within the region has gone nuts and I've struggled to keep up with demand. Postage delays, material shortages and being 1400kms away from Perth has had its challenges. I'm hoping to rectify this next year. Thank you again everyone. New followers and the loyal. I hope you've enjoyed another year of my creative journey xx

20.01.2022 These beauties were made specifically for Mella's House and are available for purchase. And how cute are these turtles?

20.01.2022 I love when my orders arrive. First, a saltwater bath to clean the beads ready for new energy x

19.01.2022 Let the making begin! These will be available shortly at @mellashouse here in Exmouth x

18.01.2022 A couple of customer appreciation pics. I love what these customers have done with their purchases. Thank you for sending these through x @ Exmouth, Western Australia

17.01.2022 I haven't done a furniture restore for quite some time now, but I wanted something for outside. I picked up this little guy in need of some TLC and just couldn't stop until I was finished. With just the handles to go, I think this has come up pretty well. I had a client a little while back who I ran a private workshop for. She took the drawer fronts off and we recoated them in resin. So thank you for the inspo! X @ Exmouth, Western Australia

17.01.2022 These little beauties have just been dropped into @mellashouse here in Exmouth - right next to the bakery. Thank you for your continued support Helen and Aaron x

17.01.2022 Colour prep. I had to work quickly today as it was about 33 degrees in the shed this afternoon. Remember the custom lazy Susan I made - the inspiration was the IGA turtle? Well, here are a series of boards x @ Exmouth, Western Australia

16.01.2022 My little helper x

16.01.2022 Sanding and oiling day - super glamorous x

15.01.2022 Whoa! What a mad couple of days. With my resin only arriving on Tuesday, I wasn't sure if I could make this order before I head to Perth for a week. The light has been on in the shed until late and the sander going like mad during (sorry neighbours) the day. So, I'm super excited to announce this order will be on the shelves soon at the Ningaloo Visitor Centre here in town. Right, this little brown duck is going to have a rest x

15.01.2022 ...or distressed white? x

14.01.2022 When I'm quiet on the Social media front, it means I'm working like mad in the shed! Heaps of new boards and new colours. Take this one in the foreground, inspired by the colours of the dolphin fish x

13.01.2022 Returned home yesterday after a week in Perth - I'm exhausted as I usually am with the nature of my stint down there, yet I get my second wind and here I am creating at 1.30am. I was lucky to have two seats to myself on the plane home. I had a chance to really observe outside the window - the sun glistening over the ocean at that time of day appeared to blend and enhance the colours, along with a silver effect. So here's a sneak peak of my "glistening water" series x

11.01.2022 Thank you everyone that has purchased my work through The Ningaloo Centre - this is all that's left! Thank you for supporting locally made products. This little brown duck is doing a happy dance x

10.01.2022 On my floor this evening. I pride myself in the presentation of my work. Lots of new earrings, bracelets, magnets and keyrings will be available shortly x

10.01.2022 Showing my pearly whites. I'm in the gallery today for Alana and I couldn't resist these beautiful earrings by Tara of @coralcapedesigns x

08.01.2022 A new colour pallet I'm trying out. This is inspired by the Elopement weddings @saltandsand_eventhire frequently held here in Exmouth. The tones of beach sand, white and silver copper give a subtle, yet stylish look. What do you think lovelies? X

08.01.2022 A few pieces dropped off this morning to @mellashouse x

06.01.2022 I've been super quiet on social media of late - I got myself a little casual job to keep things ticking over and then boom - Marlee and Me Creations has become an overnight 5 year in the making success. So to those who have just come across my little business, here are some early pics of all my various pieces. Completely self taught and a self proclaimed Jill of all Trades - master of none - I have slowly changed and developed myself as a true handmade artisan. Little miss was my inspiration to create again when she was just two years old - 5 years on and she still inspires me. I hope you enjoy these pics xx

03.01.2022 My give-aways or donations always have to have meaning. And this is no exception. The amazing community of Exmouth are getting behind a fellow coastal country town to assist it with their rebuild after Cyclone Seroja tore their town apart. I've put together this little pack - along with a serving board still on the drying rack - totalling $300 to be raffled off on the night. Many Exmouth business's have donated some huge prizes to ensure the night is a success. Head to the Facebook event called Kalbarri Rebuild Fundraiser for further details x

03.01.2022 Thank you Jess of @sugarcoated_exmouth for choosing my work once again to be apart of a special gift for a 60th birthday. Jess puts together amazing grazing plates and gift packs with the aim of supporting locally made produce and handmade products. This gift went to a lovely lady holidaying in one of the caravan parks. Jess personally delivered it to the recipients delight and surprise xx

02.01.2022 My boards are now out on display and ready for purchase at the Ningaloo Centre x

02.01.2022 Coasters. These beauties are now available at @ningalooinspired Gallery here in Exmouth. Hold tight my online followers, I'm getting there. I'm hoping to have made enough stock shortly to have a separate stash just for my neglected Etsy store x
