08.01.2022 The following is a plea from a mother informing others of her child’s allergy. This is a mother asking family and friends to take this life threatening allergy into account when hosting a party etc. to know how to treat a situation like this please read the advice below and contact us to do your anaphylaxis and asthma first aid course. READ IF YOU THINK A FOOD ALLERGY ISN’T LIFE THREATENING ... It’s terrifying to know there’s so many people out there who don’t realise how serious a food allergy can be. Having a son Who’s anaphylactic to peanuts is the most scariest thing in my life. Going out to eat, him going to school. Knowing that there’s people out there who don’t realise or don’t care. LET ME TELL YOU!!! If my son JAXON was to eat a peanut or something with peanuts, eg Cakes, Chocolates, food what has been cooked in peanut oil,and the list can go on. My son doesn’t JUST get itchy or get hives HIS LIPS HIS FACE HIS THROAT HIS TONGUE get SWOLLEN which makes it hard for him to BREATHE we have 5mins ONLY 5mins to give him his Epi pen or get him to a hospital/ambulance or he can DIE... You can’t tell from looking at someone if they have an allergy or from looking at food ALWAYS CHECK. Please when having a party or guest over or making lunches for kids, ASK IF THEY HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES !!! READ INGREDIENTS NEVER ASSUME!!! THIS IS WHAT WILL SAVE SOMEONE LIFE..... COULD YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF IF SOMEONE DIED BECAUSE YOU NEVER ASKED???
