24.01.2022 Baby Sensory Sutherland Shire is for Sale It is with a heavy heart I put my business up for sale. Due to personal reasons I cannot run my business so I have... made the difficult decision to sell. It is the perfect time to buy a successful Baby Sensory business! Parents are wanting to make meaningful connections and spend valuable time with their baby in the current climate. Classes have been running in the Sutherland Shire for 3 years, with around 1500 babies attending, and there are excellent opportunities for further growth and expansion. Full training, ongoing support from an experienced Regional Franchisor, and mentorship from the outgoing franchisee will be available to help you. Be your own boss and enjoy flexible hours working with parents and their babies across the Sutherland Shire. You could work part-time or full-time and easily finish work in time for school pick-up. 23.01.2022 There's 2 strongly opposing views in trying to help your baby sleep better (patronisingly labelled as one of "the mummy wars"): 1. the traditional approach of t...raining your baby to sleep independently by self-settling. This is what's taught in most sleep schools 2. the alternative 'gentle' sleep approach of constant rocking, shushing, singing, feeding, white noise, etc - anything to stop your baby from crying until they fall asleep. But what if there was a 3rd way? One that didn't involve leaving your baby on their own OR involve hours of doing all the things until your baby eventually falls asleep, only to wake up again soon after. 21.01.2022 TUMMY TIME It is recommended that parents introduce tummy time to their babies soon after birth. It is best done when your baby is alert and awake and you can begin by introducing it little and often. As your baby becomes more settled during tummy time, you can increase the amount of time spent there. A fantastic way to make tummy time more interesting is to place a book in front of your baby so that they have something to look at and distract them.... For little babies, a high contrast book will be even more captivating. You can even roll up a small towel, to place under your babies chest, to help support them in this position to begin with. Tummy time helps to strengthen the back, neck and shoulders, as well as giving your baby a different view of the world!
