24.01.2022 At Marmion Physiotherapy, we believe we are providing an extremely important service for our clients. For many, we provide relief from pain that enable them to work, rest and play. With that in mind, we will do everything possible to continue provide that essential service in the safest possible environment. We are minimising the already very low risks of transmission of Coronavirus at our clinic. This risk is much lower than the vast majority of day-to-day activities such... as food shopping, going to work or school, or restaurants. We are asking clients to not attend the clinic if they are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms or if they have travelled overseas in the previous two weeks or if they suspect they have had exposure to the coronavirus. We will no longer be using bed linen so that we can wipe the vinyl bed with disinfectant between every patient. We have a fastidious handwashing regime before and after each patient. We have implemented thorough, regular and frequent cleaning of all shared surfaces such as door knobs, chairs, reception counter, etc. We are practising good hygiene and social distancing. Finally, it is worth noting that at this stage there are no locally transmitted cases of the virus in WA. With our collective vigilance we aim to keep that as low as possible Thank you for your understanding and for your support at this difficult time.

Outlining that we are to be doing telehealth appointments only during the lockdown period. 15.01.2022 Thanks Mark! If you need any Physio you know where we are!!

13.01.2022 WE ARE STILL OPEN! To our valued clients . WE ARE STILL OPEN! OUR PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC REMAINS OPEN FOR BUSINESS. ... The government has acknowledged that physiotherapy is important to maintain health in our community, thus helping minimise the load on the hospital system. Your family’s health continues to remain our top priority and we ask that during these difficult times, you continue to prioritise it as well. HEALTH IS TRUE WEALTH! PUBLIC SAFETY All of the sanitisation features that we have implemented (above and beyond government requirements) continue to be employed, and as a consequence we pride ourselves in the knowledge that our practice is considerably safer than almost any other business that people are still allowed to frequent. AT-RISK PATIENT APPOINTMENT TIMES With our social distancing measures and appointment staggering, it is quite likely that the only people you will encounter during your visit will be our front desk staff and your practitioner. However, arrangements can be made for people who are ‘over 70’ and ‘at risk’, to be seen at quiet times within clinic hours. If you’re unsure as to whether your condition warrants treatment, you are welcome to phone before you make an appointment. SLOWING THE SPREAD and SURVIVING THE CRISIS It is clear that the government expects many of the current changes to remain in place for a considerable amount of time. We are a small business and we ask for your continued support during these tough economic times. We understand the challenges faced by virtually everyone in the community financially and will endeavour to accommodate any patients who have financial concerns regarding their treatment on a ‘case by case’ basis. Additionally, your GP can provide you with a Chronic Health Management Programme referral, formerly EPC, which will allow you to have five government-funded visits, within a year, for a specified service if deemed necessary. (To be eligible you need to have had a muscle or joint problem for at least 3 months). We are all in this together, so if we can help you in any way, feel free to contact us. From Your Physio Team!

09.01.2022 Exercise update:

09.01.2022 TO OUR VALUED CLIENTS WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS! The Prime Minister Scott Morrison last night made a decision to make further closures. However, Physiotherapy Services are to remain OPEN. We have an important role to play to take pressure off the already overloaded medical system.... The West Australian newspaper INCORRECTLY reported that physiotherapy clinics are among the services to close temporarily. This is not the case. We continue to maintain strict hygiene policies, screening all clients and ensuring anyone at risk does not attend the clinic. All surfaces are cleaned before and after every contact. We will continue to monitor government advice. Thank you for your continuing support.

07.01.2022 We are still here to help.

02.01.2022 We are back for face to face consults from tomorrow!!
