25.01.2022 A few Photos of Maroombah 18111, Our Special Stud reserve from the 2018 drop. Sired by Maroombah 16043 this young sire is an absolute Powerhouse of production when shorn last June at 9 months of age he cut a staggering 43% above the 2019 sale team average (Who were no slouches themselves) Testing at 17.8 Micron 2.5 SD 14.7 CV and %100 CF. 18111 will be used through our top Stud ewes this coming season, we look forward to the results

22.01.2022 A Fantastic Day today saw our team of On-Property Sale Rams sell to a top of $1500 for lot number 6 to Mr Badger Babbage of "Badgerville" Orange, we would like to thank everybody for there continued support and wish them all the very best for the season ahead

22.01.2022 A great day yesterday for our annual Ram sale, Topping the sale was lot 14 an 88 kg 17 micron son of LD 171208 that sold to Mr John O'Reilly of "Redbank" Hargraves for $3000. We would like to thank everyone that gave us a hand setting up and wish all our clients continued success with there new purchases

21.01.2022 No rainfall of our own in the last few days but a terrific surprise this morning to see the Meroo River our main water source flowing for the first time in 18 months

20.01.2022 A few more shorn today with the help of Mr Ben Price who easily took on the task of shearing our stud 2-Tooth ewes that ended up topping the scales at 8.1kg and averaging a very respectable 6.1 kg for the entire drop

16.01.2022 Lambs lambs lambs We've been busy Marking lambs this week with fantastic results our stud ewes have achieved an overall marking rate of 122% from joining without scanning, leading the charge was our lead sire MRB170152 who was joined to 106 ewes which resulted in 139 lambs yeiding a marking a percentage of 131%. This year for the first time we're using Tally eartags and a new dual vaccinater both of which I can highly recommend

I thought he would be a terrific asset to our stud if we ever got the chance and today we got that chance and purchased him at the online Hamilton ram sale for $6500 ,Welcome to Maroombah LD180959

09.01.2022 Weaning Ram Lambs this morning in very unfavourable conditions. Despite the smoke and heat it was great to have a good look at this years drop which includes the first sons of Maroombah 17152 and Langdene 171208 looking forward to watching these guys grow out

05.01.2022 Stud Ewe Weaners in for side sampling today, we're very happy with how these 10 month old lambs are coming along after such a tough start to life

04.01.2022 Side sampling our rams this morning in preparation for our ram sale which will be held on Saturday the 31st of October and they look terrific

02.01.2022 Giving our new grouper bin a run today. A fantastic piece of kit to fill self feeders with very happy to be saying goodbye to the bags and buckets and best of all it was made locally at Blayney by Cooke's Manufacturing and Engineering. Thank You Sam and Jasmine for a wonderful product
