Yagoona is an Aboriginal word meaning 'now' or 'today' what a beautiful name for a place to be married John and Kellie and all present let us stop an appreciate the beauty of this moment in time, this now, this day of your marriage. As residents of the Wiradjuri Aboriginal land John and Kellie would like us all to acknowledge that this marriage is taking place on Aboriginal land and pay respect to the traditional owners. Waller-owang is an Aboriginal word meaning place near wood and water, or plenty of water - what a beautiful name for a place to be married I ask all present to stop an appreciate the beauty of this moment in time, and wish John and Kellie the abundance in life and their relationship that the local Aboriginal people would have associated with a place with Plenty of water and wood Note that only an Aboriginal Elder can do a Welcome to Country.
