18.01.2022 We would like to extend a warm invite to our local residents to attend a Traditional Smoking Ceremony followed by the Turning of the Soil at the Marrickville Metro development site. This very special event will formally acknowledge the Cadigal People of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet and celebrate the commencement of this exciting project. 15.01.2022 If youre alone, lonely or simply need a welcoming place to spend Christmas morning, youre warmly invited to Marrickville Metros Christmas Breakfast BBQ from 8.30am - 10am. Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but for some it can be an isolating time as well. Many members of our community wont have family or friends in town or might find themselves alone for a variety of reasons. Even though we are officially closed, we want our wonderful Inner West community to know that our home is open to them every day, even Christmas Day. Come along for bacon and egg rolls, lentil patty and egg rolls and cold drinks kindly donated by Woolworths and, of course, some community connection. Hosted in partnership with The Salvation Army, a wonderful community support during the Christmas season, we look forward to seeing you there.

05.01.2022 As part of our valued community, we wanted to touch base with an update on the commencement of demolition works at the Smidmore Street site. Demolition has begun and will take part 6 days a week from 7.00am 5.30pm. We expect this work to take several weeks to be completed. Given the nature of the work, noise is to be expected, however please be assured that we are committed to always maintaining compliance within local council guidelines and minimising disruption wherever ...possible. We will be in touch soon with details on a special event to say thank you and show our appreciation for bearing with us through the noise. See more
03.01.2022 Hope you all had a great long weekend. Tomorrow there will be noise at our Smidmore Street entry between the hours of 6am-8.30am. We are demolishing a block wall. Please let us know if you are distrupted by the noise and we will do what we can to mitigate the situation
02.01.2022 Tomorrow we are holding a special event on Wednesday 19 June. We invite the community to join us for some local bites and brews so we can say thank you for bearing with us while we improve your Centre and share some exciting development updates with you. The event will kick off at 5pm outside the Centre Management office, located on Victoria Street, and conclude at approximately 8.00pm. Hope to see you there!
01.01.2022 Hi Residents! Today we have experienced electric issues specifically relating to ALDI and our toilets. We are working to resolve this issue however it is likely we will require a back-up generator to be positioned in the ALDI Loading Dock. We have dropped letters off to all Murray Street residents who are likely to be affected. Please let us know if you have any cause or concern! MM x
