22.01.2022 The MDRA hosted the 2021 Anzac Day Open Championships on Sunday 25 April at Anzac Range consisting of two stages, with two sighters and 15 scoring shots. It was a clear day with great weather, the wind was very tricky, with flag conditions changing from left to right catching a lot of people out. PJ finished third in the 2 stage aggregate for F-Std A Grade with a 170.7 points and Daniel finished 3rd for FTR finishing with 168.7 points. ... 15.01.2022 In following up from the last tutorial on moly coating your projectiles, here’s a couple of photos of my little operation how I moly coat mine. I place a container with a mixture of projectiles and moly powder on top of my case tumbler, leave for approximately four hours, all the while with the brass and projectiles getting the full treatment .... and there you have it, your brass polished and projectiles coated. All that’s required now, is to clean off the excess moly powder and polish the projectiles with a doubled up long sock, or something similar. A note of personal safety, it is advisable do this outside and to wear a mask protecting yourself from the dust given off during the polishing process.

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, we do this a constantly and probably with not much thought to it . . . and that is, why and how we store our ammunition. This tutorial is aimed to remind us all about possible complacency when it comes to this topic . . . shoot straight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFE-pECYosc

10.01.2022 In just under two weeks, there’ll be the annual Anzac Day Open Championship, please see the flyer for more info ... happy shooting

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, if you're like me and have trouble reading wind over long distances, hopefully this tutorial will help when out in the field. Enjoy . . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xAeucDPF2E

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, we happened to be talking about this topic on the range last Saturday, which was removing carbon using CLR. Its a great and efficient way of removing built up carbon from your rifle, but what I would like to add, is that you will need to use some form of degreaser like Brakleen afterwards. CLR will leave behind a residue, by using a degreaser, this will stop any chemical reaction both on the carbon and the metal itself; as over time, one doesn't know what long te...rm effects that CLR will have on the metallurgy of the part that you are cleaning. Enjoy . . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xte_pf3ZhsA

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I recently came across a topic in which I can personally relate to . . . and that was the time that I had a stuck case in my resizing die and it was all because of not having enough lube on the brass . . . well, we live and learn. Enjoy . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mVcEvPCWfw

03.01.2022 Some late additions to Blue’s collection.
